CIA Agent Stan Smith is constantly fighting off terrorists who threaten the safety of the USA (sometimes causing more harm than good). His wife Francine is an average housewife with two kids: Hayley, an average rebellious teenager and Steve, a geek who enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, gaming and comic book conventions. Then there’s Roger, the home’s illegal (space) alien who the Smith’s are keeping protected. Last but not least, there’s Klaus, the Smiths’ wisecracking talking fish (swapped from his human body years ago by the CIA).

Hayley tries to drill President Bush on the Iraq war, and Steve and Roger attempt to convince him that they've found Osama Bin Laden, but instead get him drunk. Stan tries to save the President from public humiliation, while Hayley revels in his fall from glory.

Meanwhile, the rest of the family is certain that the two have just run away to the tree house, so when it explodes in a lightning storm, they are devastated, but console themselves with Steve's college fund.

Meanwhile, Stan tours the Mr. Pibb factory and meets the man himself.
