#1 - Episode 473

Season 6 - Episode 57 - Aired 7/31/1984

Joan learns that Shane has been bashed by his father into backing up his claims against her. With Marie and Reb out of the way, Lou sounds Bev out about being the brains behind the rackets but she isn't interested in the money. Shane runs away from his father but Joan tells him he must go back to his father until she can get custody. Bev burns her hand in the press to see what it feels like. The women decide on a waltz marathon as their record breaker for charity. Munroe wants money from Joan in return for giving up Shane: she says she'll see him in court. Myra tells Ann they are all terrified of Bev. Bev deliberately traps Dot in the cold room in the kitchen. Bev slashes Lou's arm to illustrate the sort of payoff she wants to become involved in the rackets. Bobbie escapes from the kitchen using a copy of Ray's key and the escape alarm goes off while she is half way over the fence.

Season 6 - Episode 67 - Aired 9/4/1984

Peter Wright and his accomplice tie Meg to her bed, gag her and rape her. The women shun Bobbie following her attack on Angel. Meg tries to cope with her ordeal but won't listen to Ann's urging her to call the police. Joan lets the women know Angel lagged on Bobbie and they all realise what Angel is really like. Her grandmother visits the prison and tells Ann she is evil. One of the candidates for the vacant handyman's job turns out to be Stan. The other candidate, Neville Sloan, tries to heavy Stan to get him to drop out. Angel is sent to coventry by the inmates. Joan gets Lou and her heavies to beat Diedre up in the laundry. When Reb won't do anything to help her, Myra and Judy rush to her aid.

Season 6 - Episode 66 - Aired 8/30/1984

Wentworth is evacuated, but the dance team refuse to leave until they have completed the marathon. One of the deaf children goes missing in the confusion, so Judy goes to try and find her and collapses with exhaustion. The women complete the marathon and join the evacuation. The bomb threat turns out to be a hoax. Angel slashes Marlene's teddy bear with a pair of scissors and sets Bobbie up for it. Heather asks Myra to help get rid of Joan. She and the women co-operate to set Joan up for everything from bashings to drugs inside the jail. Ann orders Meg to take statements from all the women with regards to Joan's brutality. Bobbie bashes Angel in the shower block. Meg is surprised at home by a masked intruder and opens her front door to escape, only to let in Peter Wright, the man Angel hired to rape her.

Heather admits the truth of the drugs allegations, but denies helping Marie escape. Joan says goodbye to Shane and decides to stay at Wentworth. Alice sprains her ankle, and Dot takes her place on the dance team. Heather accuses Joan of setting her up. The brake line on Ann's car is cut. Reb turns a blind eye to Lou and Frances bullying Diedre, and even joins in. Dennis tells Heather he is going back to England. Dot collapses with only ninety minutes to go. Angel overhears Phil and Meg discussing a date and calls in an acquaintance to rape Meg. The women break the record and have a half hour to go to win the sponsor's money. An anonymous caller phones the prison and tells Ann he has planted a bomb.

Season 6 - Episode 64 - Aired 8/23/1984

Diedre tells Judy it was Marie who really bashed Reb. Angel finds a magnet in a drawer and uses it to play havoc with Judy's pacemaker. Ann gets another threating phone call at work. Lou and Alice bully Diedre. The dance marathon begins and the women are dead on their feet after only the first night. At Shane's custody hearing, he says he would rather live with ""Auntie Joan"" than his father. Ann tells Heather that Marie has made a statement implicating her in drug smuggling and aiding her escape. Shane is taken away from his father, but is made a ward of the state rather than being given into Joan's custody.

Season 6 - Episode 63 - Aired 8/21/1984

Doris Cruickshank wants Dennis back. Marie is recaptured but sent straight to Blackmoor. Angel causes more trouble between Myra and Judy. Joan plans to move away with her father. Reb and Diedre are brought to Wentworth - Reb refuses to see her mother. Ann gets another threatening letter and calls in the police. Angel sets off the fire alarm and drives a wedge between Marlene and Dot. She also tells Joan that if she comes near her again she'll say she tried to molest her. A mad PR woman, Barbara Krantz, arrives to handle the dance marathon. Ann gets a round-the-clock guard. Phil tells Bobbie she has a little sister and her father wants to see her. Special guest athlete Cliff Young arrives to support the marathon attempt. Dennis is suspended for breaking the strike. Joan threatens Reb again. Ann finds another threatening letter on her mantelpiece despite the police guard on her flat.

Season 6 - Episode 62 - Aired 8/16/1984

Myra tells Joan she won't find it as easy to get her own way now, as they are all united against her. Diedre hides Reb at the family's holiday home. The waltz team is chosen: Myra, Judy, Bobbie, Marlene, Angel and Alice, with Dot as coach. Reb tells Diedre she won't be getting any of her money after all. Heather and Dennis spend the night together. Angel stirs it between Myra and Judy by telling Judy that Myra warned her to be careful she doesn't seduce her. The Major suggests Joan give up her job and come to live with him. An anonymous death threat arrives at Wentworth addressed to ""the person in charge."" Dennis's wife Doris turns up unexpectedly. Diedre is worried that Reb is so ill and calls the police, who recapture her. Reb vows to kill her mother.

Season 6 - Episode 61 - Aired 8/14/1984

Judy, Dot and one of the social workers find the body under Dot's bed. The hunt is on for Bev, but when she is caught she injects herself with an empty hypodermic and dies in Dennis' arms. Joyce resigns as union rep. Phil tries to ask Meg out. The union agrees to the officers returning to work. The seemingly naive Angela Adams arrives on a six week sentence on forgery charges, claiming to have been set up by her boyfriend. Diedre knocks out the policewoman on duty at the hospital and whisks Reb out in a wheelchair. The dance practice is interrupted by Joan's unexpected return to work.

Season 6 - Episode 60 - Aired 8/9/1984

Myra hits Bev in retaliation for what happened to Bobbie. Terror among the inmates continues to grow. Heather tries to follow Dennis' example and go into work, but is beaten back by the angry picketing mob. Bev starts her raffle again. Reb accidentally admits to a reporter that Joan did not beat her up. Dot goes to Wentworth General for tests and when the social worker accompanying her leaves her alone, she heads back to Wentworth in a taxi. Joan, Shane and the Major go fishing. Myra and Ray squabble with one of the social workers and tip salad dressing down her. Bev attacks Judy with a soldering iron, but Judy passes out. Reb offers to give her mother some of her inheritance if she helps her escape. The women try to drug Bev, but she outsmarts them and Marlene drinks the drugged tea instead. Bev stabs a male social worker with one of Dot's knitting needles.

#10 - Episode 475

Season 6 - Episode 59 - Aired 8/7/1984

The officers go on strike, though nobody really wants to. The Major comes to visit Joan. The women are terrified at being locked up with Bev on the loose and no screws. The officers' replacements turn out to be social workers. Bev threatens to kill the next person to walk into the laundry, which turns out to be one of the social workers, but the women thwart her attempt. Dennis is so opposed to the strike he crosses the picket line and goes into work. Bev announces a raffle with a $5 prize. Marlene wins the first draw: Bobbie gets the ""consolation prize."" Phil Cleary, one of the social workers, tells Meg he knew Bobbie on the outside and her mother is dead. Bobbie gets her ""prize"" from Bev - she takes the bandages off her hands and repoens her cuts with a razor blade.

Dennis and Heather spot Bobbie in the street while out for a meal; they pursue her and bring her back to Wentworth. Bev tells Myra she's taking over as Top Dog. Dot has chest pains, but everyone thinks she's just faking again. The charges against Joan are dropped but the department demands her resignation. Reb inherits all her father's money. Shane is beaten black and blue again by his father. Dot collapses with a suspected ulcer. Marlene's mum and dad assist her in arranging the dance marathon. Joan learns she won't get custody of Shane without a job. Everyone else is overjoyed Joan has been sacked until Joyce tells the officers the union has ordered they strike in support of her.

Season 6 - Episode 68 - Aired 9/6/1984

Myra and Judy save Diedre from Lou and Alice's beating but she gets knocked out in the struggle. Reb finally comes to her senses and they make up. Meg reports her rape to the police. Diedre is released after the happy reunion with Reb. Stan tells his wife Edie he has a job at Wentworth and she assumes he means as an officer. Pixie is brought back in for shoplifting. Meg tells Phil she was raped. Myra and Heather mastermind a plot to set up Joan to make it look like she molested one of the women - Pixie agrees to be the ""victim"". Lou plots to get rid of Stan and replace him with Neville, her boyfriend. Reb distracts Lou from ruining the women's frame-up of Joan but it all goes pear-shaped anyway. Heather realises it won't work and takes the blame. Ann is furious and sacks her on the spot.

Season 6 - Episode 56 - Aired 7/26/1984

Reb's accusations against Joan are being taken very seriously as she is taken to hospital. New prisoner Bev Baker turns out to be a psycho who is in Wentworth for murdering and dismembering several people. Myra stops Bobbie escaping in the garbage truck. Joan visits Shane in the hospital and clashes with his father. Marlene has the idea of raising money to buy a reading machine for deaf children by trying to break a world record. Bev admits she killed several more people than the one she was charged for. Rachel goes to trial: she gets five years, and is transferred to the prison farm. Marlene is terrified of Bev. The police arrive to see Joan: she thinks they want to question her about Reb but instead they arrest her for abducting Shane.

#14 - Episode 471

Season 6 - Episode 55 - Aired 7/24/1984

Marie denies attacking Reb, but is sent to solitary anyway. Shane and Nicky are rescued from the storm drain, but the police diver drowns in the rescue attempt. Judy and Myra realise Joan set Dot up to make it look like she poisoned the staff room tea urn. A new camp cook, Ray Procter, arrives. Marlene mocks him and starts pinching things from the kitchen. Rachel berates her but it turns out anything she hasn't stolen, Ray has! At the VJ hearing, Joan gives evidence against Marie and extra time gets added to Myra, Bobbie, Dot, Reb and Marie's sentences. Heather tells Dennis she thinks Joan doped the urn. Joan takes Reb to the shower block and keeps watch while Marie bashes her. When Heather finds her badly injured, Reb claims Joan did it. Marie scales the fence during exercise period and makes a spectacular escape from Wentworth aboard a waiting helicopter.

#15 - Episode 470

Season 6 - Episode 54 - Aired 7/12/1984

Ann has been reinstated due to Leigh putting pressure on the right people and thanks her for it. Joan is furious. Reb learns her father has died. Rachel takes charge in the kitchen following Mrs O'Reagan's accident but the women cause a ruckus when she messes things up and the food runs out. Leigh goes to trial and is released on a two year bond. Joyce is elected the officer's new union rep. Joan agrees to arrange Marie's escape when Marie makes threats against Shane. Shane and Nicky get stuck in a storm drain, with the water levels rising. Judy gets a letter from Lori saying her little grandson will be deaf for life. Reb tells Meg she wants to tell the Governor who pushed her down the stairs after Marie taunts her into punching her. Joan arrives at the storm drain and begs the rescue squad not to let Shane die.

Season 6 - Episode 53 - Aired 7/10/1984

Bobbie is suspected of poisoning Marlene, as she cooked her steak, but the women realise Edna did it. Rachel and Judy go to see Ann, but she wants proof of their allegations. Reb wonders how she can get Bobbie off the hook about her attack without lagging. Heather grows suspicious of Joan's actions during the riot. Joan plots to transfer Marie to Blackmoor. Rachel phones Edna's husband to warn him about her. Marlene worries about Bobbie after finding a suicide note on her bed. Dennis rescues a man from a crashed car just before it catches fire. Marie threatens to expose Joan, demanding she help her escape. Dot accidentally scalds Mrs O'Reagan and herself with hot fat. Bobbie tells Marlene she was going to kill herself, but stole the wrong pills from the infirmary. Joan is informed that Ann has been reinstated.

#17 - Episode 468

Season 6 - Episode 52 - Aired 7/5/1984

Joan is appointed Ann's replacement, to everyone's dismay. Judy lets Myra know her feelings about the thankless task of looking after things while she was away. Joan takes Shane to Luna Park for his birthday. The women hold a fashion parade, compered by Leigh, but Marie interferes and rips Marlene's skirt. The inmates stage a sit-in in the dining room in support of Ann, but she persuades them it won't help. Myra takes over as Top Dog again, despite Marie's protests. Bobbie stabs Dennis in the arm with a pair of scissors. Reb arrives back and tells Ann that Bobbie didn't attack her, but won't say who did. Ann allows the prisoners to have a barbecue in the garden and Edna doctors Marlene's steak. Reb finally meets with her dying father. Edna is released after her appeal is upheld. Marlene collapses with stomach pains.

#18 - Episode 467

Season 6 - Episode 51 - Aired 7/5/1984

Bobbie is blamed for the attack on Reb. Meg arrives at the prison and organises the conscious officers to get the women out of the building. Ann comes to and sets out to help the inmates, rescuing Leigh from her blazing cell. Judy stops Marie escaping through the kitchen as the riot comes to an end. Joan wants to adopt Shane. The police try to get a semi-conscious Reb to blame Bobbie for her attack. Alice and Frances are violently ill after drinking Marlene's barley water. Leigh learns the minister has resigned following her accusations. Myra returns to H Block but Judy gives her the cold shoulder. Marlene tries to convince Judy that Edna poisoned the barley water but accidentally smashes the bottle, destroying the evidence. Ann tells Meg she has been fired.

Myra gives herself up. Wally visits Ann and she tells him they are finished. Judy warns Ann the recent troubles are aimed at her. Reb doesn't want to be involved in the riot but Marie gives her no choice. Leigh exposes the minister to the press, thwarting Roland's blackmail attempts. Joan pays Shane's father to let her keep him. Edna gives Marlene a bottle of barley water laced with rat poison. Joan drugs the officers' tea urn. The riot explodes in the rec room and Joan is taken hostage. Marie smacks Leigh in the face. Ann and all the officers except Heather are knocked out by the drugged tea. Marie has Joan beaten up. She goes after Heather when she realises she is still awake but Heather evades her. The rioting women trash and set fire to the cells. Dot refuses to let them into her cell. Reb refuses to help Marie kill Myra, so Marie chucks her down the solitary staircase. Judy and Rachel are relieved when the riot alarm finally goes off. Heather and Joan stumble upon the unconscious

Season 6 - Episode 49 - Aired 6/28/1984

Marlene tries to hide the evidence of her bashing. Kay is over the worst of her withdrawal systems. Heather's brother has an accident on his bike, causing her to worry about Marie's threats. She brings in the drugs and tells her it's a one-off but Marie tells her she's pulling the strings. Mrs O'Reagan has Edna taken off kitchen duty when she realises she's in for poisoning. Heather tries to resign but Ann talks her out of it. Myra phones Ann to say she's coming back and Ann hears Wally in the background. Roland tries to blackmail Leigh. Several cells, the rec room and the library are trashed. Judy learns Marlene did it, forced by Marie, and realises Joan is trying to get rid of Ann. Joan orders Marie to start a riot.

Tracey steals all the money out of Meg's building society account and flees the country, leaving Mark still holding Meg hostage. Shane refuses to go back to his father. Wally thwarts Kay's escape attempt. Edna is visisted by her husband, who reassures her about her appeal. Marie sets Marlene up with a caricature of Joan. Reb refuses to see her estranged father, who is seriously ill with multiple sclerosis. Meg stops Mark shooting himself when he realises Tracey is not coming back, and the police rescue her. Reb tries to apologise to Bobbie about the fight. Marie puts more pressure on Heather. The women take part in an aerobics class led by Rachel. Joan gets Marie, Reb and Frances to beat Marlene up.

#22 - Episode 463

Season 6 - Episode 47 - Aired 6/26/1984

Marlene tells Marie all she knows about Heather, to save herself from a beating. Nicky the dog is okay. Tracey Morris arrives unannounced to visit Meg. Marlene tries to befriend a hostile Bobbie. Heather stands up to Joan. Kay suffers terrible withdrawal symptoms. Reb agrees to deal drugs for Marie. Ann is put on six weeks' notice and will get the sack if anything else goes wrong. Judy is threaened by Marie when she objects to her drug dealing. New prisoner Edna Pearson arrives, charged with trying to kill her husband and protesting her innocence. Meg learns Tracey and her boyfriend, Mark, have robbed a TAB and they take her hostage. Marie threatens to get Heather's family unless she brings drugs in for her. Mark knocks Meg out with his gun when she tries to escape. Joan tells Marie she can carry on with the drug racket, if she agrees to help her get rid of Ann Reynolds.

Season 6 - Episode 79 - Aired 10/9/1984

The bitterness showing between Joan and Len is becoming evident, with the women disregarding Marlene's actions of Len saving her from Joan. Charged with posession of drugs, Sam Greenway is brought to Wentworth for 6 months. Marlene continues looking for more money making schemes. Sam doesn't seem to be a hit with the women, claming to be a vegeterian and is shunned by Myra because of her drug involvement, she is also heavied by Alice and Fran afgter some crude drawings of them both. Myra asks for Sarah Higgins to be put in with the rest of the women, much to Ann's shock, but agrees to it. The entire mess between Lyle and Kerryn is sorted out, but it's too late for Kerryn, who hangs herself...

#24 - Episode 505

Season 6 - Episode 89 - Aired 11/8/1984

Frank begins to display the kind of man he is after trying it on with all the women in the rec room and trying to grope Jane Doe in her cell, causing her to scratch him. She also attacks Lou after she touches her prayer book and has privilages suspended. Reb gives the go ahead for more cockroach racing, and Lou pts her own bet on for one. Matt is introduced to the women in the rec room, with Bobbie and Pixie showing their interest in him. Pixie discovers Lou's stash of drugs in her cell after looking for Jane Doe's prayer book and is promptly taken to Ann, after Joan discovers her in there. But as Pixie lags on Lou, Pixie is now on her hitlist. Myra gets Reb's real thought of the women on tape, forcin gthe women to see Reb for what she is, conniving and devious.

#25 - Episode 504

Season 6 - Episode 88 - Aired 11/8/1984

Ann realises that she must agree to let the men and women mix, or Joan will be appointed Governor. Marlene is believed to have been poisoned but ann thinks something more sinister is happening. Lou regrets agreeing to be the bait for Len, and tells Reb she won't be helping her, but Reb says otherwise. The Sarah Higgins murder case is being dropped. New prisoner 'Jane Doe' arrives at Wentworth, refusing to say a word, holding a prayer book for comfort. Meg agrees to see a counsellor for her troubles and reveals the pregnancy was caused by rape. Reb's lies are spread everywhere, she blames Lou for the dope slipped to Marlene. Geoff is openly sick of Frank's treatement of Matt and gives him a blow to the stomach to hammer the message to him. The men and the new prisoner are finally brought into with the women, Myra shunning Geoff, Frank fraternising with every woman and Lou taunting the new arrival.
