#1 - Episode 1

The season was filmed in the islands amidst the South China Sea. The castaways were 20 regular citizens of South Africa, led by two team captains, former Springbok rugby captain, Corné Krige and former Bafana Bafana player, Mark Fish. The team captains compete in all the team challenges, involve themselves in tribal life, and take part in Tribal Council. However, they cannot be voted out of the game, and they cannot vote at Tribal Council. On Day 27 the team captains alongside the Jury vote for the castaway they believe is the Ultimate Survivor and the R1 million grand prize. The team captains also play for a separate prize of R500,000.00 decided by the South African public.
