What the dealer does next forces the team to take desperate measure to get their man. Elsewhere, the interceptors launch a chase to catch a couple of knife-wielding robbers in a stolen Toyota. And officers’ patience is sorely tested when a driver protests about a minor offence.

Jon Moon and his dog Kanto are hot on the heels of some burglary suspects, while spot-checks by the unit on the A1 turn up a carrier bag full of cash. Jason Baxter rushes to the scene of an accident where the driver was thrown clear of the car, only for another crash to take place - this time involving a line of vehicles.

Police race to intercept three men suspected of robbing a string of plumbers' merchants. A fleeing van speeds the wrong way round a major roundabout and causes a huge crash. Police investigate illegally customised motors in Basildon, and a man threatens to take on a whole street full of officers.

On a Sunday morning, cops are kicking off the traditional day of rest with a red-hot pursuit in the city centre. A Volkswagen driver proves a slippery customer, especially on wet roads, and even manages to evade the interceptors' stinger. But when he makes it to the M1 at speeds north of 90mph, the cavalry are called in to perform a breathtaking T-PAC straight out the top drawer.

Jen and Quantum supply canine support to a major drug bust at a disused pub, and later, the duo confront an aggressive suspect who has allegedly damaged someone's front window. On the roads, a runaway car mounts the pavement in an effort to escape, and Phil spots a serial offender who failed to attend court last time the officers nicked him on the very same road.

Meanwhile, the Knife Crime Team head out in force to the northern suburbs, where they suspect a drug-deal is about to happen. After a highly co-ordinated operation, the team smoke out the suspected main dealer and a search turns up almost 100 wraps of Class A's down his pants.
