Jonesy is rushed into hospital by Tess, Ben and an anxious family. A woman tells Jonesy to be quiet, she will tell the cops all they need to know... The previous day, Jonesy is out fly fishing with his book on "Fishing For Dummies". He calls Tess and she tells him they aren't concerned about 2 missing backpackers, they are more than likely just enjoying themselves. Tom heads off for a fishing weekend with Grace. Jonesy gets hooked on something and falls into the rapids, almost dying as he tries to keep above water. He gets out of the water with an injured arm and finds himself at a camp where the Fisher family take him in - Kaye and Bob are the parents, their daughter Tamsin sits by the fire like a zombie, or like she's been drugged up. Back in the present, a wounded Jonesy with a bandaged arm and head comes back to the station. The Fishers are there, telling the cops how they saved his life but he cries out, telling them they need to save Tamsin.
