A fierce rivalry begins as A-Troupe and B-Troupe battle to decide which team will represent The Next Step at Nationals. When the dust settles, one team must overcome their underdog status and prove they have what it takes to be champions, while the other decides to stop playing by anyone else's rules and show the world they are true triple threats.

As A-Troupe speeds towards Nationals, things take an unexpected turn when a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity shakes up the studio. A-Troupe struggles to stay united as they face the biggest decision of their dance careers. Does A-Troupe have what it takes to make it on dance’s biggest stage? Will a new group of talented dancers emerge as the future of TNS? This season, all bets are off.

But if they’re able to bounce back from their personal losses, and help each other through the tough times, they will learn what it truly means to win.
