Dr. David Banner, a physician and scientist, accidentally overdoses on gamma radiation during an experiment to tap into the hidden strength that all humans possess. Now, whenever he becomes angry or outraged, a startling metamorphosis occurs: he transforms into a massive, green-skinned creature of primitive rage known as the Hulk. Banner wanders across the country, using assumed names and taking odd jobs, searching for a cure to his condition while trying to stay one step ahead of Jack McGee, an investigative reporter obsessed with capturing the "beast."
