This is a story that revolves around certain students and one hobby. Amano Keita is our lonely protagonist who has a passion for gaming and is friends with Uehara Tasuku, who is secretly a fellow gamer and is someone who believes his life is perfect. We also have Karen Tendou, the club president of the video games club and Chiaki Hoshinomori, who constantly bickers with Keita. This is a story filled with a non-stop sequence of comedy scenes and misunderstandings. Our chaotic romantic comedy now begins!

Season 1 - Episode 6
Aguri and Keita discover Chiaki and Tasuku on what appears to be a date. Aguri is devastated, but both she and Tasuku decide independently to help Keita move things along with Karen.

Season 1 - Episode 8
Chiaki's younger sister Konoha overhears Keita and Misumi at the game shop, taking comfort in Keita recommending an old game she also has a fondness for. Later, the Gamers play a Love Love Game of Half-Life board game together, becoming even more awkward as a result of the oddly specific spaces they land on.

Concerned about the relationship between Keita and Aguri, Tasuku suggests to Karen that they prove their respective relationships by inviting them on a double date to an amusement park. Konoha brings Chiaki to the same theme park to intrude on their date.

Keita takes flak for rejecting Karen's invitation to the game club. For a moment, it looks like Keita had made the entire class his enemy, but Tasuku doesn't seem to want to board that bandwagon.

As Chiaki feels conflicted over Tasuku's "confession", Keita invites Aguri to join their Gamers meet up to discuss the matter but finds himself unable to bring it up, instead stating his determination to buy a new game from his favorite series.

Season 1 - Episode 9
Feeling conflicted about her recent revelation, Chiaki goes to the convenience store and comes across Keita, who left his train pass behind the previous night. Upon returning to her apartment, Chiaki accidentally shows Keita her computer and phone linking her to Nobe and Mono and, in her panic, claims that Konoha is the one behind both of those aliases. While feeling something amiss about this reveal, Keita comes across Konoha as she goes to meet up with Chiaki, who receives a strange call from Tasuku that the others interpret as a confession.

Tendou Karen has been out-of-it ever since Chiaki and Keita have become friends. She runs into Keita in town, and so they go on a "walk" together.

Tasuku pieces together the surprising connections between Chiaki and Keita. Chiaki and Keita, meanwhile, not even aware that they'd had those connections, discover that they have some seemingly irreconcilable differences.

Following his accidental confession to Karen, Keita contemplates if he should rescind it due to assuming she and Tasuku are an item. After Aguri tells him to decide for himself on what to do, Keita formally asks Karen to go on a date with him to an entertainment center. As the two spend time playing sports games and going to the pool, things become awkward when they run into Chiaki!
