Sage has an epiphany and pledges a new direction for his music and his creative future. Rigo also has an epiphany and decides to make changes for the woman he loves.

Prohibited from performing at the BMT Awards, house-arrested Sage reluctantly agrees with Collette to let Rigo perform in his slot. It takes both Poppy and Collette to convince Rigo to make the appearance which will boost tour sales. Meanwhile, to the annoyance of Odalie, Angel meets Marquise and both are smitten with one another. At the live awards performance, Rigo has a surprise for everyone that changes the direction of the entire tour.

With his lifelong friend and supporter Poppy by his side, he turns the tables on Sage and Collette just when they are most vulnerable. As friendship blossoms between Odalie and Angel, Odalie finds understanding and courage to purchase her own house, leaving Davis in the cold. Busted for selling drugs, Marquise is approached by D.A. Erin Baxter to help take Sage Odom down.
