A young boy named Ash Ketchum embarks on a journey to become a "Pokemon Master" with his first Pokemon, Pikachu. Joining him on his travels are Brock, a girl-obsessed Rock Pokemon Trainer, and Misty, a tomboyish Water Pokemon Trainer who may have a crush on him. Ash and Co. end up traveling through various regions, including Kanto, the Orange Islands, and Johto, and then enter the Pokemon League competitions there. Along the way, they run into many confrontations with Jessie, James, and Meowth, a trio of Pokemon thieves who are apart of an evil organization called "Team Rocket". But everytime Team Rocket try to do their evil deeds, they fail thanks to Ash and his Pokemon.

Afterward, Brassius reveals he saw another mysterious Pokémon, too—an Arboliva. What could be its connection to the black Rayquaza?

He leads Liko and Roy in a training exercise with their Pokémon, then challenges them to a Multi Battle alongside Wakaba, an aspiring Gym Trainer. The result is a fiery bout in which Kabu pushes Liko, Roy, and even Wakaba to give it their all—no matter what!

Meanwhile, as Roy practices throwing Poké Balls outside, he accidentally angers a group of Galarian Weezing. The wild Pokémon go on the attack, but Friede challenges Orla to engineer a solution—will it work?

The Tandemaus’s partner is trapped inside a cave, so Liko and her Pokémon squeeze through an opening and manage to find it—but it seems there are still more Pokémon who need help. Liko then finds two more Tandemaus, but they’re extremely weak, so she asks Hatenna to try using Heal Pulse…and it works! Outside the cave, all four Tandemaus are reunited…but are they really Tandemaus?
