#9 - Sussex and South East London Revisit

Season 37 - Episode 9 - Aired 8/3/2022

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer catch up with two sets of house-hunters who were battling the property markets on either side of the Thames. In 2018, Emily and Dustin had six weeks to get out of Emily's parental home, before her sister returned from Australia to reclaim her room. They'd managed to save a healthy deposit, but in the north London market, they were finding it hard to secure their first home, and their desire for equal-sized bedrooms and their own garden had Kirstie tied in knots. After finding their almost-perfect pad, things took a turn when it came to making an offer. Two years later, they're back to see if they landed on their feet and into their dream starter home. In 2009, it was all about location for Sarah and Ian. Fixated on their beloved Balham, but without the budget for a two-bed, Phil had to employ some creative thinking to fulfil their wish list.
