The theme is: light. The eight remaining bakers kick off with the signature challenge; they must create a transparent Bavarian cream cake. For the technical challenge, the jury dives into French patisserie with a classic task: îles flottantes. To top it all off, the bakers are challenged in the showstopper to craft a spectacular lantern display in honor of Saint Martin.

The temperatures are dropping in the *Heel Holland Bakt* tent. The bakers kick off with a true winter classic: a strudel. The bar is raised even higher for the technical challenge, aiming for the snowy peak. The amateur bakers must create four perfect Mont Blanc tarts. And as the cherry on top, there’s the showstopper: a winter village made of cookies.

The tension rises as the final four bakers must give their all to secure a spot in the grand finale. They begin with a challenging signature task: combining two classics into one. In the technical challenge, the bakers must braid bread. From geometric shapes to intricate mosaics, the showstopper is a patterned cake.

Janny and Robèrt were pondering, what theme shall they gift the amateur bakers? Six *Sinterklaas* tarts to make, that's task number one, preferably without a winter carrot for fun. In the technical challenge, we’ll see delicious letters of chocolate and pastry, resulting in a true *Sinterklaas* buffet. The surprises that complete the creations must surely leave everyone wanting more.

In de signatuuropdracht vliegen de kilo’s bloem, liters cakebeslag, vla, bavarois, decoratiebeslag en zoete geuren door de tent. De bakkers maken een trifle in een enorme bloemenvaas. Janny vreest voor een zoet-explosie, André helpt een handje mee, de kandidaten racen tegen de klok en Robèrt pakt de enorme opscheplepels erbij. De technische opdracht is er 1 naar Andrés hart. De bakkers maken hartige kaasbloemen van bladerdeeg, soezenbeslag, kaascrème en tapenade. En dat alles zonder receptuur. Voor het grande spectacle pakken de bakkers uit met bijzondere smaken. Lavendel, geranium, matcha, fruit, honing, tijm en vlierbloesem. Er staat een bloementaart op het menu! Met nog maar 4 weken te gaan en 6 kandidaten in de strijd begint het speelveld zich af te tekenen. Sommige bakkers ontpoppen zich tot vlinder, terwijl anderen een beetje stil blijven staan. Na een spannend weekend ontdekken we wie als meesterbakker de tent uit fladdert en wie met een klein traantje helaas de tent verlaat.
