Miles Daly works as muscle for a murderous crime ring in Nevada and attempts to change professions and become a movie producer, laundering money through a Hollywood film.
In season one, Miles convinces washed up producer Rick Moreweather to film a period piece, a script he “procures” while working as muscle for a Nevada crime ring. Along with his criminal associate Louis, Miles attempts to keep his worlds from colliding as he balances the demands of filmmaking while keeping the suspicions of the crime ring’s chief, Amara and her dangerous nephew, Yago at bay.
In season two, Miles Daly struggles to reconcile his ambitions as a filmmaker and a family man with his skill set as a career criminal. His progress in Hollywood is jeopardized when the washed-up producer with whom he partnered in season one agrees to wear a Federal wire. Miles faces off with criminal financiers and with a Hollywood power-broker who could be the most dangerous of all.
Season three sees Miles Daly, newly released from prison, in a cat and mouse game with studio head Laurence Budd, while Amara and Rick flee to the Guatemalan jungle to escape the FBI.
