Dexter Douglas is a mild-mannered teenager who, one snowy afternoon, while logged onto the Internet, is thrust into a horrible crash on the information superhighway and transformed into an electrifying superhero. He's average, predictable, the middle of the bell curve and the center of the silent majority -- basically he's completely dull and boring! There's simply nothing extraordinary about Dexter Douglas. He's just a kind-hearted guy who blends into the crowd easily -- except when he's "Freakazoid"! with his new power and the suport of fan boy and his other friends he will stop the evil lobe and the other evil doers and all in time to lock lips with the sexy STEPH.... Freakazoid! was executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

A job of rescuing the President turns into an unexpected TV parody when a vortex sucks Freakazoid and some honey-roasted nuts back to Pearl Harbor, 1941. Can he turn back the Japanese torpedo planes and change the course of history, or will he just stand there gaping at the hula girls?

Season 1 - Episode 19 - Aired Nov 4, 1995
Jack Valenti hosts the story of how Freakazoid got his powers and the promise of seeing a grown man wrestle a bear. The show starts off at a software company where Roddy McStew is telling the members of the board not to put out a chip that can turn a man into a ""Freakazoid."" This happens when the user is on the Internet, punches in an intricate series of keys and presses delete. Next, it's Christmas day at the Douglas house and Dexter gets the afforementioned chip. He installs it in his computer and logs onto the Internet. His cat comes in and accidently presses the necessary keys on the computer. Dexter presses delete to clear the screen and history is made. Dexter is transformed into Freakazoid and pesters Duncan. Roddy comes to the Douglas house looking for the computer user of the house under the guise of being Dexter's driving instructor. Roddy meets Freakazoid and he switches between being Dexter and Freakazoid. The software company's commandos storm the Douglas's house and take

While Freakazoid recovers from a botched attempt at using his new powers, Cosgrove, Roddy, and the crew from the show ""Real-Life Police"" try to track down the dreadful duo of Cobra Queen and Cave Guy. When they find themselves in hot water, can Freak master his powers and come to the rescue?

It's Freakazoid's birthday, so according to the Superhero Codebook, he's got to do favors for whoever asks him. Then the Lobe shows up and makes Freakazoid promise to leave him alone. Since all the other local superheroes are on a conference on some moon somewhere, Freakazoid can't ask them to help! What's a Freak to do?

An evil Egyptian wizard named Invisibo escapes from his imprisonment after thousands of years, and starts wreaking havoc on the modern-day world. It's up to Freakazoid to stop him; as soon as Freak finds a way to catch a guy who's invisible!

Dexter's date with Steph is interrupted by the Lobe, who has a plan to bring down the TV broadcasting industry. However, Dexter finds it difficult because he needs to turn into the Freakazoid in order to stop the Lobe, but he can't abandon his one chance with Steph either.

Armongo Guitierrez is now able to zap himself into the internet while using the Pinnacle Chip and he plans to get revenge on Freakazoid, though will he be able to accomplish the task, despite the fact that Freakazoid defeated him before?

Season 2 - Episode 8 - Aired Feb 7, 1997
While Freakazoid is in charge of flying a bunch of villains to a remote country in France, Freakazoid's plane is brought down by an evil scientist who specializes in combining humans with orangutans to form "Orangumen". Freakazoid has to work with some of his closest enemies in order to escape the island and get back on track, but with an island full of orangutan warriors, escaping may be harder than expected.

Cobra Queen and her jewel-thieving serpents are holed up in the poorly-lit sewer. It's Freakazoid's duty to go down there after her-- but he hates sewers!

When Freakazoid's family gets imprisoned in the brutal state of Vuka Nova, Freakazoid must travel there with his friends, stop the ruthless dictator and free his loved ones; though that sounds much easier than it turns out to be as they discover some intense security at the prison.

Freak-a-Panel: While on the trail of Cave Guy, Freakazoid finds himself at a sci-fi convention and despite the fact that everyone is in costume, he needs to find the real Cave Guy and get out. However, when Freakazoid is asked to sit on a panel for the WB and answer questions about the show, he is forced to take a detour from his search; though can he manage to escape the mediocrity and catch Cave Guy before he slips out unnoticed? Tomb of Invisibo: An invisible villain from ancient Egypt has been released, and is causing havoc throughout the world.

Season 2 - Episode 12 - Aired Jun 1, 1997
The Lobe has committed the most heinous crime ever: kidnapping Norm Abram and forcing him to build the ultimate weapon against Freakazoid. Succeeding in having a giant horn built and Freakazoid captured and tied to the end of it, the Lobe invites a few fellow enemies of Freakazoid to have a party to celebrate his upcoming demise. Gutieris wins a lottry to see which villain will kill Freakazoid, but the horn falls apart due to intentional shoddy workmanship and the villains are swiftly defeated. Breaking the Fourth Wall, all the characters appear on a stage and say this is the final episode of the show, singing "We'll Meet Again" in farewell. (Some of the characters can't handle the pressure and run away as the song goes on) Steven Spielberg has a cameo guest star at the end
