Forged in Fire features world-class bladesmiths competing against each other to create some of the most iconic edged weapons from history. In each episode, four of the best bladesmiths in the country will come together to put both their skills and reputations on the line. Whether they are making a Japanese katana, a medieval broadsword, or an ancient throwing blade like the chakram, the weapons they forge will be fully functional and lethal works of art and war. The unique histories contained within each weapon will be creatively told during the forging process and the final weapons themselves will be assessed and ruthlessly tested by our panel of expert judges. These dynamic and explosive tests will be individually designed to push the weapons to their absolute limit. One by one, the bladesmiths will be eliminated until only one remains to be crowned the champion.

#1 - Headhunters Revenge
Season 8 - Episode 9 - Aired 2/17/2021
Four smiths get to choose their forging method and materials. But there's a catch. Each technique comes with its own clock for the round. Will the smiths opt for the most difficult cannister damascus and the four hour clock? Or the easiest ball bearing with only one hour? After a brutal round of testing, the two surviving smiths are tasked with creating the Headhunter Axe in only 3 days. Which smith will stand the test of time to become Forged in Fire Champion and win the $10,000 prize?

#2 - Titanium Smackdown
Season 7 - Episode 31 - Aired 5/6/2020
Four smiths must forge handles in round one using metal never before seen in this competition - titanium. The smiths must learn to navigate this new metal just to make it to round two. Ultimately, two competitors are able to produce weapons worthy of moving on to their home forges for another complex build: the Horseman's Tabar and Hidden Dagger. Which smith will chop down the competition, earning $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion?

#3 - Tomahawk and Bowie
Season 7 - Episode 32 - Aired 7/15/2020
Four smiths are put to the test when they must forge keys to unlock boxes of steel needed to make a knife. After a couple of intense rounds, two competitors are are picked to head back to their home forges to recreate two American classics: the Tomahawk and Bowie. Which smith will honor American history by producing a weapon worthy of the title of Forged in Fire Champion and the$10,000 prize?

#4 - Japanese Ono
Season 7 - Episode 33 - Aired 7/22/2020
Four smiths are tasked with forging a blade that must fit perfectly into a puzzle piece cut out. After two puzzling rounds, the final two smiths return home to recreate the ancient samurai pole axe, the Japanese Ono. Which smith's weapon will chop down the competition earning them the title of Forged in Fire Champion and $10,000?

#5 - Super Champion Edition
Season 7 - Episode 34 - Aired 7/29/2020
Four former champions return to the forge to engage in a competition unlike any other. Although they've mastered the fire their first time around, they'll have to dig deeper in order to overcome a set of new challenges. After an intense first round takes down one, three move onto a fit and finish round with more at stake than they could ever imagine. Ultimately one former champion is tasked with recreating a Cossack Shashka, but in a challenge that features the biggest twist in Forged in Fire history--the smith must defeat one of our judges to be named the first ever Super Champion and walk away with $10,000.

#6 - The Boateng Saber
Season 7 - Episode 35 - Aired 8/5/2020
In this first ever pay-to-play competition, four smiths learn they must fork over forge funds in order to use the tools needed to make signature blades. After a couple of intense rounds leaves two smiths bankrupt, the remaining competitors return home to recreate the most expensive sword ever sold: the Boateng Saber. Whose weapon will be fit for a king, earning them $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire champion?

#7 - Summer Forging Games Part 1
Season 7 - Episode 36 - Aired 8/12/2020
In this two-part Forged in Fire special, four smiths enter the forge to compete in four events that will test every aspect of their bladesmithing capabilities. In event one, these smiths must create a testable knife from a railroad spike and a piece of high carbon steel. After testing, the four smiths are ranked from first to last and move onto event two where they must make a set of Damascus throwing knives. After another brutal bout of testing, which three competitors will move forward to the next event for a shot at first place, the Forged in Fire title and $15,000?

#8 - Summer Forging Games Part 2
Season 7 - Episode 37 - Aired 8/19/2020
In the second half of the Forged in Fire Summer Games, three smiths remain, eager to win the Damascus metal and $15,000. However, the challenges are far from over as they must forge the Greek Xiphos Sword, from start to finish, in one round. After being ranked from first to last, all three enter the final event at their home forges, where they must choose to recreate one of four historical weapons, ranging in level of difficulty and point value. Which smith will return with a weapon worthy of being crowned the first Forged in Fire Summer Games champion and walk away with $15,000?

#9 - Veteran's Knife Special
Season 8 - Episode 1 - Aired 11/18/2020
On this special episode, Forged in Fire salutes our nation's veterans. Four bladesmiths with ties to the military are tasked with re-creating four unique blades co-designed by distinguished vets, all using different techniques, during a grueling three hour forging competition. After a round of brutal testing, two smiths return home to make the patriotic American Eagle Head Sabre. The two final weapons will be pushed to their limits, but only one smith will be worthy of the title of champion and the prize of $10,000.

#10 - The Deadly Vajra-Mushti
Season 8 - Episode 2 - Aired 11/25/2020
Four smiths get rolling when they are tasked with making cannister Damascus from tubes. After a couple of intense rounds in the forge, two competitors head back to their home forges to recreate a deadly and unique Indian weapon: the varja-mushti. Which smith will produce a weapon worthy of the Forged in Fire title and walk away with a check for $10,000?

Season 8 - Episode 3 - Aired 12/2/2020
Four smiths are in for a twist when they are tasked with forging signature blades from either a large suspension cable or thin piano wire. After two intense rounds that come down to the wire, two return home to recreate the legendary Sword of Saladin, one of the sharpest blades in the world. Which smith's weapon will cut through the competition, leading them to victory and a check for $10,000?

#12 - M1905 Springfield Bayonet
Season 8 - Episode 4 - Aired 12/9/2020
Four smiths must rely on their math skills to determine the amount of steel needed to make their signature blades. After a couple calculating rounds, two smiths return home to build the intricate M1905 Springfield Bayonet. Which smith's design will lock him into first place, securing the Forged in Fire title and a check for $10,000?

#13 - The Giant Sword of William Wallace
Season 8 - Episode 5 - Aired 12/16/2020
Four bladesmiths are faced with a gigantic challenge, scaling down a nine foot long dagger to exactly a fifth of its size. After a couple of intense rounds of putting their skills and calculators to the test, two competitors earn the right to return to their home forges and craft the largest sword in Forged in Fire history--the William Wallace sword. While two smiths will enter the final testing arena, only one will emerge victorious with $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion.

Season 8 - Episode 6 - Aired 12/23/2020
The stockings are hung and the forges are aglow in a special Christmas competition where four smiths must work their way to the judges nice list by salvaging steel from Santa's sleigh to forge signature blades. After two festive rounds, only two smiths merrily return home to recreate the iconic sword carried by General George Washington during the American Revolution. Which smith will produce a weapon worthy of Santa's seal of approval and the greatest gift of all--the title of Forged in Fire Champion and $10,000?

Season 8 - Episode 7 - Aired 1/6/2021
Four bladesmiths get cooking when they are tasked with forging a cleaver using only the steel from meat hooks. After two rounds of slicing and dicing, two smiths head back to their home forges to create the Maguro Bocho, a massive tuna knife.

#16 - Teeth of the Tegha
Season 8 - Episode 8 - Aired 1/13/2021
Four bladesmiths get revved up when they are tasked with forging signature blades from a burnt up car. With no usable leaf spring, the smiths race to salvage the best steel to make their blades. After a couple rounds of burning rubber, two are sent home to recreate the Serrated Tegha Sword. Season 8 - Episode 10 - Aired 2/24/2021
Four bladesmiths are in for a hands-on challenge when they are tasked with forging pry bar knives. Given a variety of tools to make their blades, will the smiths be able to figure out the right tool for the job? Then after grueling round of testing two Smith's return home to forge a pair of Spetsnaz shovels famously wielded by Russian Special Forces. Which smith will dig deep to forge a pair of weapons worthy of the Forged in Fire title and a check for $10,000?

Season 8 - Episode 11 - Aired 3/3/2021
For the first time the judges flip the script, giving the competitors the opportunity to choose their own challenge. However, the bladesmiths must work together to agree on the parameters before starting the round. After an intense bout of testing, two return home to recreate the fearsome Dahomey Machete, famously wielded by an all-female army. Which smith will produce a weapon worthy of the fierce female warriors and be crowned Forged in Fire champion?

#20 - San Mai Mystery
Season 8 - Episode 12 - Aired 3/10/2021
Four smiths are blindsided when they must choose from a selection of mystery steel to create san mai blades. However, that isn't the only unknown. The clock will be off, leaving the smiths to rely solely on time calls for guidance. After a surprising rounds of tests, the last smiths standing will select between two weapons to forge at home. Which smith will uncover the secret to forging a weapon worthy of $10,000 and be crowned Forged in Fire Champion?

#21 - Second Chance Tournament: Part 1
Season 8 - Episode 13 - Aired 3/24/2021
For the first time, eight former competitors will head back into the arena for an epic tournament. However, before making it to the main event they will have to go head to head against another smith. Up first, two smiths who suffered catastrophic failures face off. Then, two smiths who failed to turn in weapons in time get another shot to beat the clock. Which smiths will seize the moment and advance to the final round of our Second Chance Tournament for the ultimate title of Forged in Fire Champion?

#22 - Second Chance Tournament: Part 2
Season 8 - Episode 14 - Aired 3/31/2021
The Second Chance Tournament continues with two final duels. Up first, two runner-ups compete to prove they have what it takes to be in the number one spot. Then, two smiths whose blades failed to make it to testing will go head to head. Which smiths will advance to the final round of our Second Chance Tournament to prove they have what it takes to become the next Forged in Fire Champion and finally take home the $10,000 prize?

#23 - Second Chance Tournament: Finals
Season 8 - Episode 15 - Aired 4/7/2021
After winning their duels, the Second Chance Tournament concludes with four remaining smiths in an epic final battle. After a couple of grueling rounds, two survive and head back to their home forges to take on a complex weapon from the Forged in Fire vault. Which smith will take down the competition with a weapon worthy of $10,000 and finally be crowned Forged in Fire Champion?

#24 - Memory Game
Season 8 - Episode 16 - Aired 4/14/2021
Four smiths put their memory to the test when they are tasked with recreating an insanely complicated blade after looking at it for only 20 seconds. After an intense round of testing, the remaining two competitors return home to make one of the most unique weapons ever featured on the forge floor--the Elephant Tusk sword. The two weapons then will undergo some of the most brutal tests in Forged in Fire history, but only one will survive to win the title of Forged in Fire champion and a check for $10,000.

#25 - WWE Edition
Season 8 - Episode 17 - Aired 4/21/2021
On this very special WWE edition of Forged in Fire, four smiths will go head-to-head in the ultimate forging battle. After an all out smackdown, the two surviving smiths will head back to their home forges to build the gruesome Bastard Sword. Two blades will face off in a final round of testing, but only one can rise to be the cream of the crop to claim victory, earning $10,000 and a WWE title from The Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair.
