#1 - House of the Falling Son

Season 9 - Episode 14 - Aired 3/1/1989

Sable is able to maintain a calm facade and convince Heath to put the gun down so they can talk. Agreeing, and feeling more at ease, Heath talks about how Sable can ruin Colbyco. After Heath leaves, Sable is still in shock from her close encounter with death. Needing to be with someone, she goes to Dex. Blake questions Dex about what Adam did to Virginia to make her want to leave. Hearing the truth, Blake kicks Adam out of the house, as Blake feels his family slip away from him. Alexis goes to Paris to check on Boyd's commando operation. Alexis finds herself wanting Boyd. Fallon moves in with Sammy Jo. Zorelli asks Fallon to explain why she is suddenly cold to him. Joanna confronts Sable for stepping in between her and Dex, causing Sable to suspect Joanna's loyalty. Joanna tries to seduce Dex but he turns down her advances. #2 - Oil (2)

Season 1 - Episode 2 - Aired 1/12/1981

Matthew gets a little visit from an old acquaintance, Walter Lankershim. Walter asks for money, because he's in trouble. He's lent money from Blake to drill for oil, but he haven't made any strikes. Matthew refuses to give him any money. Matthew goes to visit his present wife, Claudia, who's been in a mental institution for 18 months, but he learns that she's much better, and she's been released. Matthew, Claudia and their daughter, Lindsay, decides to start over again as a family. Blake and Krystle get to talk about their disagreements, and starts planning a big wedding. There's an accident on Walter's oil rig and he finds out that somebody has been sabotaging. He's convinced that Carrington has something to do with this. TV Guide: Part 2 of 3. Walter Lankershim asks Matthew for money; Matthew considers starting over with his wife, Claudia; Krystal and Blake begin their plans for a big wedding.

#3 - The Bordello

Season 1 - Episode 8 - Aired 2/23/1981

Walter takes Steven to a bordello to try to ""straighten him out"". Something goes wrong at Matthew and Walter's rig, Steven is blamed for sabotaging, and though he's innocent, he looses his job. Blake's plan now is to take Walter and Matthew's rig when they're in trouble. Krystle doesn't like Blake's methods in his work. She pawns an emerald necklace and loans Matthew the money to help him. She makes a false copy so Blake won't understand it's gone. In the end, Matthew and Krystle kiss, but Krystle breaks it off and leaves.

#4 - The Testimony

Season 1 - Episode 15 - Aired 4/20/1981

Blake's trial continues. Both Joseph, Claudia and Krystle have to testify. When Claudia testifies, she has to tell that she had an affair with Steven, and then Matthew finds out about it. He makes rebellion in the court room, attacks Blake and has to go to jail. Claudia packs her stuff, runs away, and takes Lindsay with her. On the way, they collide and get serious injuries. In the final scene, Jake Dunham calls in a new witness, and in walks a mysterious woman. It turns out to be Alexis Morrell Carrington - Blake's first wife.

#5 - The Verdict

Season 2 - Episode 2 - Aired 11/11/1981

Blake is convicted to two years unconditional prison. Blake first wants to appeal, but changes his mind. We can now see the first sign of Alexis being the ""big bitch"" in the series. Both she and Blake hate each other, and she decides to move into an old house which once belonged to her in Blake's garden. Blake fires Michael. Claudia tries to track down Lindsay and Matthew, but with no luck. Blake tries to talk to Steven, but it ends with a fight. Krystle discovers she's pregnant.

#6 - Alexis' Secret

Season 2 - Episode 3 - Aired 11/18/1981

Claudia is released from the hospital. When she comes home, she tries to kill herself by taking an overdose with pills, but she's saved by Blake's friend, dr. Nick Toscanni. It turns out that Nick's secret plan is to get back at Blake for something that happened in the past. Fallon and Jeff decides they want to have a baby. Claudia moves into the Carrington mansion. Blake tries to get Alexis out of his property. Alexis tells Steven that he is Blake's only child and that Fallon's father is another man.

#7 - Fallon's Father

Season 2 - Episode 4 - Aired 11/25/1981

Alexis urges Blake to make up with Steven who, she tells him, is his only child because Fallon is not his daughter. Blake learns that Cecil Colby closed a business deal without consulting him. His associates do not want to deal with an accused murderer. Alexis urges Cecil to speak with Blake so that Steven may be put back in the family will. She threatens to reveal their past affair if he doesn't. Alexis further reveals that Colby is Fallon's father. Claudia tells Dr. Nick Toscanni of her affair with Steven. Steven drunkenly falls at the mansion, hitting his head on the pool diving board. Nick pulls Steven's unconscious body from the pool and rushes him to the hospital. Steven is diagnosed with possible brain damage.

#8 - The Psychiatrist

Season 2 - Episode 9 - Aired 1/13/1982

En route to Rome to meet Rashid Ahmed, Blake calls Krystle in yet another attempt to convince his despondent wife to see psychiatrist Nick Toscanni. She calls the doctor for an appointment, and Fallon is immediately jealous. Jeff begs Fallon to cancel her abortion. She confesses that she became pregnant only to compete with Krystle and further states she never loved him. Their marriage was strictly a business deal to benefit Blake. In Rome, Blake meets Alexis at Ahmed's villa. While he's rubbing suntan lotion on his ex-wife, a photographer, hired by Alexis, snaps photos. At home, a shattered Krystle sees the suggestive pictures in a gossip paper and bursts into tears. Nick comforts her and her grief soon turns to passion.

#9 - The Proposal

Season 4 - Episode 10 - Aired 12/7/1983

At Alexis' office, Dex discovers a confidential file marked ""Tar Sand"" and beats her to the contract. Later, he offers her a 60-40 split. An enraged Jeff locates Adam at the summit of the Carrington Plaza. After exchanging vicious insults and violent punches, Adam tumbles halfway over the edge. As Jeff is about to finish him off, Adam frantically explains he had no idea he fathered Kirby's child, and Jeff allows him to crawl to safety. Jeff intercepts Kirby as she is about to leave for Paris. Blake proposes marriage to Krystle, who happily accepts.

#10 - Carousel

Season 4 - Episode 11 - Aired 12/21/1983

Kirby proposes that she and Jeff divorce. Adam tells her he wants to be a father to their child. Dex and Alexis make love. Jeff is jealous to see Fallon with Peter DeVilbis. Peter's champion racehorse, Allegre, is up for sale, and Blake decides to buy the mare. At the Carousel Ball, the high point of Denver's social season, Blake and Krystle announce their intentions to remarry. Steven warmly wishes his father the best. Blake is touched by the gesture and welcomes his son back into the family.

#11 - Seizure

Season 4 - Episode 15 - Aired 1/18/1984

Blake receives a note requesting $2 million in diamonds for the return of his racehorse, Allegre. Peter proposes to Fallon and then makes another pass at Claudia. Dex and Alexis close a lucrative oil contract. While pouring herself a glass of water, Kirby's hand begins to tremble uncontrollably. Diagnosed as suffering from hypereflexia, a condition that may lead to convulsions or heart failure, Kirby remains hospitalized while Adam keeps an all-night vigil in her room. Suddenly, her body becomes rigid and goes into convulsive seizure.

#12 - Birthday

Season 4 - Episode 23 - Aired 4/4/1984

Tracy and Krystle exchange angry words. As Alexis monitors all of the television news programs, Mark suggests she's waiting to see some late-breaking news-news she already knows. Blake learns Kirby has unearthed the truth about her father and is anxious to demonstrate he only lied to fulfill Joseph's wishes. As little Blake's birthday party gets underway, Krystle tells a stunned Alexis that she is expecting a baby. Alexis recovers quickly and dismisses Krystle with the fact that she's been through four pregnancies. Krystle catches the slip, and Alexis explains one pregnancy miscarried. Fallon and Jeff announce their plans to remarry. The Carringtons are stunned to hear that Rashid Ahmed has created an international incident by announcing that Blake is planning a military attack on another world power involved in the China Seas oil deal.

#13 - Swept Away

Season 5 - Episode 11 - Aired 12/12/1984

Upon learning that he may be Amanda's father, Blake resolves to ask Amanda to take a blood test. Nicole tells Jeff there's a chance Peter DeVilbis may have been with another woman at the time of the crash. Under the pretense of a family outing, Alexis arranges to send Dex and Amanda to a ski lodge. With the tension growing between them, Amanda and Dex begin to fight. Their fury, however, soon turns to passion. Alexis finally arrives and announces the three are bound for London, where she and Dex will marry.

#14 - The Treasure

Season 5 - Episode 15 - Aired 1/16/1985

Krystle begins working with Daniel. Blake is adamantly opposed and exchanges harsh words with Reece. Dex is furious with Alexis for traveling to Sumatra to see Blake's father. Alexis learns from Amanda of Dex's experience with Daniel in Vietnam. Jeff and Nikki follow the treasure map to a remote jungle location and find a statue filled with jewels, as well as a woman who has been impersonating Fallon. Jeff awakens the following day and learns that while celebrating, he and Nikki were married.

#16 - The Alarm

Season 6 - Episode 15 - Aired 1/15/1986

Galen plots to regain his throne while Elena, learning the counter-revolution is in jeopardy, solicits Michael's help. A mysterious woman visits Denver to conduct extensive research on Colbyco. Carress Morell, a journalist, is Alexis' sister. Alexis, noting Blake's loss of faculties, is ready to pounce. Adam forces Blake to grant him power of attorney. Adam boasts to Claudia, but she is suspicious, and continues her attempt to prove rightful ownership of the oil well. Sammy Jo learns that Joel and Rita plan to poison Blake and flee to South America with Krystle. After much soul searching, Sammy Jo warns Steven, but it may be too late. Steven arrives at the mansion just as Blake, stricken with an apparent heart attack, falls down the stairs.

#17 - The Aftermath

Season 6 - Episode 1 - Aired 9/25/1985

Those surviving the carnage of the bloody wedding massacre are separated and held at the palace in Moldavia to await an uncertain fate. The revolutionaries, Yuri and Warnick, have seized power and announce that King Galen is dead. Krystle, however, imprisoned in a dank dungeon along with Alexis, has seen him alive. The women are told they will not be released without meeting the terrorists' demands. In New York City, Sammy Jo reveals her plan: Rita is to impersonate Krystle in order to have her aunt removed as executrix of her father's will. While reading the newspaper, Fallon, suffering from amnesia, spots a picture of Miles Colby and is unsure why she is drawn to the name.

#18 - A Touch of Sable

Season 9 - Episode 2 - Aired 11/10/1988

Sammy Jo and Jeff are relieved to discover the body they found in the lake is not Krystle, but the mystery of how she is involved still haunts them. Krystle's car is found in Harmon Springs and the man responsible for stealing it is a convicted murderer. Frustrated by the bizarre elements involved in Krystle's disappearance, Blake is both relieved and confused when Krystle's sister, Virginia, informs him that Krystle is with her. Finding a sealed farewell letter to Blake and Sammy Jo from Steven, Adam tosses it in the fire. Fallon comes across the partially charred remains, and immediately suspects her brother of treachery. After Dex expresses his unwillingness to help Alexis strengthen her empire, she takes advantage of Sable's unexpected return and her political and financially affluent friend, Hamilton Stone. #19 - Broken Krystle

Season 9 - Episode 1 - Aired 11/2/1988

Recovering from Sean's attempted murder on her life and his subsequent death, Alexis and Dex flee to Los Angeles. There, they regain the passion they once had. Jeff tries to keep Sammy Jo from entering his room after he and Fallon have just made love. Hearing a noise, however, she pushes past him and enters. To Jeff's relief, Fallon has put on her clothes and slipped out, undetected. Following Krystle's bizarre disappearance, Blake searches frantically for her. Finding smashed pictures of a smiling Krystle, he calls her doctor, fearing Krystle's mental illness may be developing. Adam withdraws into a drunken stupor, alienating his family and Dana. Intent on using Dana to help him regain his son, he apologizes for his behavior. But when Dana packs her things and leaves him, he suddenly realizes how much he truly loves her. An incensed Blake discovers the morning headlines, which accuse him of murder and arson. He rushes to the Denver Mirror only to find Alexis as the new publisher. She presents him with an ultimatum: leave Denver or face relentless persecution from her paper. Michael Culhane, the Carrington's blackmailing chauffeur from the past, persuades a reluctant Blake to reacquire his services. Steven offers Adam his hand in friendship to work together for their father, but Adam's true loyalties lie with Alexis and Colbyco. An unsuspecting Blake is stalked by Phil Thorpe. Sammy Jo and Clay Fallmont's romance strengthens. Alexis buys up enough stock to control Denver-Carrington, forcing Blake to relinquish his office, but not his determination to regain his company. Phil Thorpe exacts his revenge by forcing Blake's limousine off the road. From the mangled wreckage, Blake is able to drag himself free and unharmed, only to find Krystle, bloodied and unconscious.

#24 - The Victory

Season 7 - Episode 1 - Aired 9/24/1986

Moments from death under Blake's powerful grip, Alexis' life is spared as Krystle is able to restrain Blake's lethal temper, but not before he vows to regain the Carrington mansion. As searing flames ravage La Mirage, Amanda is rescued from the suffocating smoke by Michael Culhane, a nemesis from the Carrington's past. Phil Thorpe accuses Blake of being responsible for the death of his wife, a victim of the fire. A news crew is quick to tape the bereaved man's inflammatory remarks. The La Mirage blaze claims the life of Claudia. Ben receives a mysterious call from a female acquaintance. Unwilling to share in her mother's ""triumph"", Amanda flees to live with Blake. Upon seeing news clips of the La Mirage fire, Alexis begins to form an unscrupulous scheme, and Blake is the unwitting prey. #25 - The Choice (aka The Vendetta)

Season 6 - Episode 31 - Aired 5/21/1986

Blake is shocked when newspaper headlines announce Ben's acquisition of the South China Sea leases. Sure of Ben and Alexis' collusion, Blake greets the co-conspirators with copies of "Sister Dearest," which he vengefully hands out to the hungry press. Claudia informs Blake that while ill, he gave Adam power of attorney to turn the Lankershim One oil well over to her. Disturbed that the well is nearly dry, Claudia becomes lost in a dreamlike past. Locking herself into a candlelit room, she accidentally sets the room ablaze. Sammy Jo and Amanda fight for Clay's affections during Dominique's engagement party. When a vicious struggle lands both women in the pool, Amanda holds a helpless Sammy Jo under water. Dominique's happiness is shattered when she learns that Garrett was never married before. After manipulating Ben into giving her one half of the leases, Alexis plots her ultimate revenge. Calling in her one billion dollar loan, Alexis renders a stunned Blake financially impotent.
