Mahadev informs Kartikey that King Himavan will name Parvati's fifth incarnation. King Himavan names Parvati's fifth incarnation as Skandamata. Malla orders Rakshas Raj to join him in the fast for Mahadev and take his blessings. Rishi Brihaspati names Parvati's sixth incarnation as Katyayini. Malla orders Rakshas Raj to assassinate Aghora. Ganga persuades Mahadev to allow her to name Parvati's seventh incarnation as Kaalratri. Parvati thanks Mahadev for his consent.

Mainavati urges Mahadev to pacify Parvati. Mahadev finds it difficult to do the same. Kali's devotees strive to sustain her anger. They succeed in transforming Parvati back into Kali.
