Julie Froment, the French teacher at a very select boarding school, is murdered while Rose was giving a lecture on psychology. Greco and Beretta are astonished to see that the evidence is accumulating against her: Rose was indeed attending boarding school with the victim of whom she was the pain sufferer. Beretta enlists as a substitute teacher to understand the truth.

#2 - The Knife in the Neck

Larosière is surprised to see his daughter, Juliette, who has run away from her mother's home, complaining of suffocating under her thumb. The commissioner does not see his arrival with a good eye because a young girl has just been brutally murdered in a theater. Larosière and Lampion find themselves immersed in the universe of a troupe of actors, with its jealousies and its hatreds. Larosière finds with delight the star who enchanted her youth, Sarah Morlant. But when the main actor of the play is found dying, a knife stuck in the back of the neck, the case thickens. The commissioner is obliged to replace him at short notice in the role of Dom Juan, which is not to displease this ham...

Rose is very embarrassed because her own mother, the wealthy Barbara Bellecour, is on the list of suspects. Barbara was indeed not only the faithful patient but one of Dr. Rivière's mistresses.

#10 - The Moving Finger

During an exchange of bullets, Lampion was wounded and Larosière decided to send him to the countryside during his convalescence. But this one is not easy because a mysterious crow sends anonymous letters denouncing all the shameful secrets of the villagers. The investigative duo decides to take matters into their own hands when the crow, tired of croaking, begins to kill.

#11 - The Murder at the Vicarage (The Protheroe Affair)

After a young secretary is found dead by hanging, Laurence quickly determines it was murder intended to look like suicide. Avril goes undercover as the secretary's replacement to help investigate.

#12 - The Body in the Library

After a very drunken night, Commissioner Larosière wakes up with the corpse of a young woman in his bed! He has no memory of what happened and realizes with horror that he is now the number one suspect in a murder case. Especially since the girl is a prostitute who worked in a brothel where Larosière had his habits. While Larosière is imprisoned, Lampion struggles to prove his boss's innocence. The commissioner manages to escape, and it is hidden from the Blue Bird (in other words like a rooster in paste!) that he will lead the investigation of Lampion to confuse the real one.

#13 - The Cat and the Mice (Cat Among the Pigeons)

A mysterious murder with no apparent motive was committed near an institution for young girls good chic good kind. Introducing Annie Greco, the first woman to be appointed commissioner in France in 1971. As soon as she arrived at the Lille police station, she had to go to a crime scene. Actor Richard Planck was found dead in his caravan while filming his new feature film. And the main suspect is the young star of the film, Anna Delange, who had a stormy romantic relationship with Richard. Greco recruits as her deputy the worst head of the police station, inspector Max Beretta, who, in order to deal with his problems of violence, is obliged to follow a therapy with a young psychologist, Rose Bellecour, who is a bit crazy.

But she makes it a point of honour to find the murderer before anyone else. She leads the investigation from her hotel room, with her two assistants Max and Rose in a submarine at the police station.
