In his retro review, Jasper shows that VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - BLOODLINES may have been a bug-ridden flop at the time of its launch, but it had potential at its core and still has a loyal fanbase today - and rightly so! Microsoft's Flight Simulator is also very popular with fans and received an update this year with MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2024, which was initially more of a downgrade. This is because the servers didn't really play along on release. In the meantime, however, things have improved again, which is why we put Colin's brother Oliver Gäbel, a full-time pilot, back at the controls and let him take a few laps.

SOUTH OF MIDNIGHT is also very original, but not because of the gameplay, which is pretty standard action adventure, but because of the graphics and sound. The NINTENDO SWITCH 2 is here! Well, not quite yet. But Gregor was able to go to Paris for us for a preview and play the console itself, as well as the new games MARIO KART WORLD, METROID PRIME 4: BEYOND and DONKEY KONG BANANZA. Is the price of the Switch 2 too expensive for you? We can understand that. Then take a look at our preview and write in the comments whether you think the Switch 2 is worth the price. But we have even more games in the show. For example DOOM: THE DARK AGES. We've also got a preview for this, as Trant has already been able to test the shooter and is pretty impressed. We had high expectations for ATOMFALL after it was announced. Because “Fallout in England”, as it has been called here and there, sounds great at first. And then there's KARMA: THE DARK WORLD. The game focuses on horror and psychological horror and the story aims to be something between David Lynch's Twin Peaks and George Orwell's 1984.

With inZOI, there is finally competition for The Sims, which has been without alternative for ages. However, with expensive DLCs and few updates, many Sims fans are now ready for something new. And inZOI is now trying to pick up these fans. Eshter is one such fan and has taken a closer look at the gameplay, graphics and AI features of inZOI. THE FIRST BERSERKER: KHAZAN is another game that is currently being talked about a lot. The Soulslike combines gameplay from Dark Souls and the like with a story reminiscent of Berserk and a cel-shaded look that also borrows a lot from the popular manga. We also finally have the review version of DARKEST FILES in this episode. We have already tested the indie game from Germany twice at Gamescom as a preview, but now we finally have the time to get involved with the special setting. Here, real Nazi cases are being tried in court.

The pressure on ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOWS is enormous. After several negative headlines, a good and successful game would do the struggling French developer and publisher a lot of good. Markus took a look at it. WANDERSTOP is a completely different game. Not familiar with it? Then you might be familiar with the surprise hit The Stanley Parable. It was created by Davey Wreden, among others, and he is now also responsible for WANDERSTOP. As is usual for Cozy Games, the game is pretty cozy. Last but not least, Kuro turns his attention to a topic that has been on his mind for a long time: doors. Yes, doors. The things you go through when you want to enter or change rooms, for example. In our preview of ATOMFALL you can get a first insight into the game, which is reminiscent of Fallout with its gameplay and story. But it's set in England and has its own vibe. And then we have TWO POINT MUSEUM in the show. In addition to hospitals in Two Point Hospital and universities in Two Point Campus, there are now also museums in Two Point County that you have to manage. And that's a hell of a lot of fun!

The title impresses with stop motion graphics and a story that revolves around the folklore of the US southern states. In a new episode, Excavated, Cliff travels back to his childhood and takes on Basti. An argument breaks out about the best SNES game and Cliff pits DISNEY'S MAGICAL QUEST STARRING MICKY MOUSE against Secret of Mana. Alex, meanwhile, has taken a look at RIFT OF THE NECRODANCER. The RPG focuses on pure immersion with its graphics and gameplay, and in our review you can find out whether John was able to get involved in the world of historical Bohemia. Speaking of history: SID MEIER'S CIVILIZATION 7 doesn't take it too seriously, because in the new CIV you can now wildly combine leaders and races with each other. There are also a few other new things in the gameplay of Civilization VII and these innovations are not well received everywhere. Find out what ShaSha thinks of the new part and what Gandhi has to do with it in the review. There's no news this week, because there was no room for it in the show. We had to squeeze a review of SNIPER ELITE: RESISTANCE into the Game Two show. Our stealth hater Ramon actually enjoyed it!

Once again, there are games that require a review! And in this instalment it's DYNASTY WARRIORS ORIGINS, a famously good part of the series that ends the open world excursions of Dynasty Warriors 9 and finds its way back to its old strength, which, according to the first reviews with dream ratings, suits it well. We also put ORCS MUST DIE! DEATHTRAP to the test. Orcs Must Die is a long-running series of tower defence games that enjoy a loyal fanbase. The new instalment, Deathtrap, goes its own way, which may not appeal to everyone. But the graphics and performance are still a problem at the moment. And at Under the Radar we have even more interesting games for you. Including: Squirrel with a Gun, Hyper Light Breaker, Uncle Chop's Rocket Shop, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, KLETKA and Symphonia.

Our winter break is over! And to kick off the new year, we don't want to miss the opportunity to take a look at a few games that slipped through our fingers at the turn of the year. Take INDIANA JONES AND THE GREAT CIRCLE, for example: okay, the name may be a little unspectacular, but the game has done really well with critics and players alike. And then, of course, there's PATH OF EXILE 2, an action role-playing game that has ‘only’ entered its Early Access phase and is therefore not yet fully released, but that shouldn't stop our Dennis from showing various hordes of monsters who has the coolest build. And that's not all, of course. After all, MARVEL RIVALS is currently a lot of fun for fans of PvP shooters, FANTASIAN NEO DIMENSION has a lot to offer fans of Japanese role-playing games and then there's ALIEN: ROGUE INCURSION.

After several release delays and a turbulent development history, the game from Ukrainian studio GSC Game World is finally here and John has taken a look at it. If mystical fantasy worlds are more your thing, AVOWED could be for you. After all, it comes from the role-playing game experts at Obsidian Entertainment and on paper there are a few things that sound exciting. It's still a while until the release, but Basti has played a pre-release version. At the end of the episode, things get particularly varied again. Because we've left out one or two VR games over the past few weeks, we've put together a fine selection of different VR titles. These include BATMAN: ARKHAM SHADOW and METRO AWAKENING, for example. There should be something for everyone!

In this episode of Game Two, we also take a look back in time with a new episode entitled “Excavated”. Shasha travels back to her childhood, which was shaped by Pokémon. But not just Edition Red and Blue, but POKÈMON MYSTERY DUNGEON: EXPLORING TEAM HEAVEN, a somewhat lesser-known title that has an extremely loyal fanbase who associate many emotional moments with it. In our short review, we take a look at the indie game IS THIS GAME TRYING TO KILL ME?, which follows in the footsteps of Inscryption and also takes us to a spooky cabin. The game combines horror and puzzles with a creative gaming experience that should pick up indie horror fans.

The RPG series began in 2003 on the Game Boy Advance and has since spawned a total of 8 games. Mario & Luigi: Brothership is now the first real successor since 2015 and is therefore eagerly awaited by fans. But maybe you're more down to earth. Then EMPIRE OF THE ANTS should be something for you, because it doesn't get much more down to earth than this. You control an ant and have to help your ant colony prove itself in the forest.

The topic of the hour: DRAGON AGE: THE VEILGUARD. There's no other way to put it, because opinions on Bioware's big new title are pouring in from all sides. For some it's too woke, for others too little RPG, for some it's GOTY and for us it's something in between. also interesting: LIFE IS STRANGE: DOUBLE EXPOSURE. Since Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Deck Nine has been working with a different studio on the adventure series than Dontnod, the studio behind the first Life is Strange. With the return of protagonist Max Caulfield, however, the game is moving very close to its origins again, and there is also the return of a legend in the indie game sector. Studio Nomada delivered an instant classic with Gris 2018. Their new game is called NEVA and not only looks just as good.

Super Mario versus Sonic - this duel has shaped the history of video games for decades. However, Mario now seems to have a huge lead, as Nintendo has had much more success with the Mario games than Sega has had with Sonic, even if two new Sonic movies have been released in the meantime. In this Game Two episode, however, both mascots are back at the starting line. SUPER MARIO PARTY JAMBOREE is the twelfth installment in the Mario Party series, which offers board and mini games for fun party evenings and has always destroyed friendships. But according to John, this part is something very special! With SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS, that something special is probably not so easy to find, because this is a game for fans. But luckily we have Dennis and Shajana, who are very familiar with the Sonic universe and know exactly what to look out for, and we also have a review of the Early Access version of WINDBLOWN for you.
