#1 - Shan Shan's Rare Blood Type

Season 1 - Episode 1 - Aired 7/8/2014

Xue Shan Shan is awakened by a phone call urging her to hurry to the hospital. She makes her way downstairs in a daze to find a taxi already waiting for her, which promptly delivers her to the hospital. She arrives to ask what she is doing there. It turns out that the sister of the company’s boss has lost blood while giving birth, and since she has the same rare blood type as Shan Shan, needs her help. Having never seen the boss before, Shan Shan is surprised to find that he is a handsome young man; but he is not so polite towards her, and she has to find her own ride home.

#2 - The New Rule

Season 1 - Episode 6 - Aired 7/9/2014

A group of people has gathered in front of the bulletin board to read the notices, and Xue Shan Shan discovers that she has passed her probation period! Shan Shan goes to see Cheng Juan, who dislikes her, to clarify that she does not have a relationship with the boss. She asks Cheng Juan not to get the wrong idea, as she has worked hard to become a full-fledged employee. Cheng Juan explains that she can’t stand people who rely on their connections, and even if Shan Shan hasn’t done so yet, she still shouldn’t be so calculating.

#3 - Feng Teng's Parents

Season 1 - Episode 16 - Aired 7/13/2014

Shan Shan decides to stay late to work overtime, and Feng Teng waits for her to finish in order to explain why he couldn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day with her. Shan Shan tells him that while other couples celebrate Valentine’s Day, she and Feng Teng would use the holiday to remember his parents, while treating the other 364 days of the year as Valentine’s Day. They embrace in a kiss once again.

#4 - Shan Shan and Feng Teng Join the Party

Season 1 - Episode 3 - Aired 7/8/2014

Feng Teng is concerned when he discovers that the company’s new app, Life Energy, has a low rate of employee engagement, despite it being a required download. He mentions to Zheng Qi that there is someone who isn’t using it - but won’t say who - arousing Zheng Qi's curiosity. Zheng Qi’s investigations quickly lead him to discover that the employee in question is Xue Shan Shan.

#5 - Why Was I Hired?

Season 1 - Episode 2 - Aired 7/8/2014

Shan Shan recalls the time before she came to Shanghai to join the Windgroup Company. Back then her parents were filled with confidence and hope for her future, and she believed she was capable of making them proud. She doesn’t want to let everyone down, but now she is discouraged as she questions whether or not her employment was really based on her ability.

#6 - Shan Shan is Bullied

Season 1 - Episode 5 - Aired 7/9/2014

After spending some time thinking things over, Xue Shan Shan musters up the courage to suggest that Feng Teng’s two secretaries help him pick out the food he doesn’t like from his dishes – surely they are more capable than she. Unexpectedly, Feng Teng responds coldly that it doesn’t make sense to have top graduates from Harvard doing that kind of job, and Xue Shan Shan's efforts once again end in failure.

#7 - The New Year's Gifts

Season 1 - Episode 13 - Aired 7/12/2014

Shan Shan’s family opens New Year gifts from Feng Teng, finding the first box they open to be full of radishes. While her aunt is gloating, Shan Shan’s mother attempts to come to the rescue, assuring her that radishes are very nutritious during the winter. But Shan Shan saves face when they open the second box, which besides nutritional items, tea leaves, and ginseng, also contains high-end electronic products! Surely Shan Shan’s aunt cannot mock Shan Shan any longer, and she smilingly accepts a gift from her.

#8 - Shan Shan is Injured

Season 1 - Episode 8 - Aired 7/10/2014

Shan Shan runs into the boss’s secretary downstairs at the company, and learns of this year’s employee trip. The boss is going to travel with the Finance Department - meaning he’ll be traveling with Xue Shan Shan! Her first reaction to find a way out, so she says she doesn’t have the money for a trip. The secretary tells Shan Shan that the boss has already covered her expenses, causing the others to talk about her again.

#9 - Celebrating with Feng Teng

Season 1 - Episode 7 - Aired 7/10/2014

On her second day of work, Shan Shan pours Zheng Qi a cup of coffee and asks him if he has time to chat. She sits down and tells him that she’s not interested in him anymore. Zheng Qi smiles and tells her that though she is very cute, he likewise does not have romantic feelings towards her. Although she has given up one fish, there are plenty more in the sea!

#10 - It's About Trust

Season 1 - Episode 33 - Aired 7/19/2014

Under Shan Shan’s guidance, the jewelry business is growing dramatically. One day while she and Feng Yue are having tea, they encounter Feng Teng’s ex-girlfriend. After being introduced, Shan Shan wants her to become the jewelry store’s spokesperson. Though this idea seems a bit crazy, Shan Shan is determined to achieve her goal. Lishu and Feng Yue attempt to dissuade Shan Shan from allowing this woman to become a part of their lives, and aren’t sure how to react when Shan Shan says she trusts Feng Teng.

#11 - A Jewelry Store

Season 1 - Episode 32 - Aired 7/19/2014

Shan Shan opens her jewelry store, and Feng Yue asks all of their distinguished guests for their support. Of course, no one knows that Feng Teng can’t marry Shan Shan until she has repaid the debt. During the grand opening ceremony, Shan Shan is surprised to find that Feng Teng recognizes one of her employees, who is the son of a big banker. Meanwhile, love has continued to blossom between Zheng Qi and Lishu, and Shan Shan takes the opportunity to promote her jewelry during Lishu’s engagement party, hoping she can reach her goal as soon as possible.

#12 - Valentine's Day

Season 1 - Episode 14 - Aired 7/12/2014

Lishu makes Zheng Qi take her out for a drink, where she gets extremely drunk. When he takes her home in the evening, she tells him if Feng Teng actually marries Shan Shan, she and Zheng Qi should be together, to which he does not respond. Lishu kisses Zheng Qi, who helps her into bed while suppressing his own desire.

#13 - Lishu's Jealousy

Season 1 - Episode 12 - Aired 7/11/2014

With his arms around her, Feng Teng teaches Shan Shan how to fish, telling her that everyone needs to know she’s in charge of this pond. Witnessing this, Lishu is unhappy, and Feng Yue becomes aware of Lishu's unfriendliness towards Shan Shan. Lishu also feels that Shan Shan is being hypocritical, having previously told her that she didn’t like Feng Teng. Feng Yue uses the opportunity to ask Lishu if she likes her brother. Lishu responds that she never stopped liking him, but that her mother disapproved of Lishu and Feng Teng being together because she was worried that others would think Lishu was just trying to marry into riches. After their chat, Lishu asks Feng Yue to keep her feelings a secret.

#14 - Shan Shan Moves In

Season 1 - Episode 11 - Aired 7/11/2014

Zheng Qi and Lishu are at the bar watching the game, when Zheng Qi asks her whether or not she likes Feng Teng. If so, he thinks she should tell him, but Lishu is worried that if it doesn’t go well, they won’t be able to be friends. Zheng Qi suddenly becomes aware that this must be the reason why when Feng Teng was in love before, she transferred to another school.

#15 - Shan Shan Has Lunch with Feng Teng

Season 1 - Episode 4 - Aired 7/9/2014

Everyone is trying to guess who Xue Shan Shan is, until Feng Teng finally reveals that she is the Feng Family’s benefactor, as well as their honored guest, having already saved Feng Yue. Feng Teng designates Shan Shan to accept the toasts of the other guests, and she does her best to complete her task as they arrive one after another. As the meal draws to a close and people begin to depart, Shan Shan asks if she can leave as well, but Feng Teng informs her that if the boss hasn’t left, employees can’t either. Therefore, Shan Shan stays behind with Feng Teng and Feng Yue until the last guest bids farewell.

#16 - Lishu is Rejected

Season 1 - Episode 17 - Aired 7/14/2014

Lishu runs into Zheng Qi, who makes a poster to apologize to her. Feng Teng and Shan Shan share their feelings and thoughts about their romance, and as it is becoming more public, decide not to conceal it any longer. Their relationship causes Shan Shan to become the object of attention, and everyone’s questions about it make her feel enormous pressure.

#17 - A Credit Card from Feng Teng

Season 1 - Episode 18 - Aired 7/14/2014

Shan Shan feels that she is having a hard time adjusting to Feng Teng’s lifestyle, and is grateful when Lishu volunteers to help her. The three decide to go shopping together, but Shan Shan cannot bring herself to buy such expensive clothing and shoes, not realizing this is all part of Lishu’s plan. Later, Feng Teng gives Shan Shan a credit card in the hopes that she can buy the clothes she wants. This action causes Shan Shan to worry about whether Feng Teng will consider her vain, or if he might be worried about losing face in front of Feng Yue and Lishu.

#18 - Lishu Kisses Zheng Qi

Season 1 - Episode 15 - Aired 7/13/2014

Lishu makes Zheng Qi take her out for a drink, where she gets extremely drunk. Shan Shan’s new supervisor, Zhou Xiaowei, graduated from one distinguished university before completing her doctorate degree at another equally prestigious institution, obtaining every possible accounting certification along the way. In awe of Zhou Xiaowei's outstanding skills, the others wonder why she didn’t join an accounting firm, until she explains that Windgroup offered her a salary she couldn’t resist! Everyone finally comes to the realization that the boss and and Shan Shan are so close because Shan Shan’s rare “panda blood” saved the boss’s sister Feng Yue.

#21 - The Bad News

Season 1 - Episode 31 - Aired 7/18/2014

Shan Shan thinks something is wrong with Liu Liu, and guesses that she may have had an argument with her mother. What no one expected was the news that Cheng Hao had stolen a large sum of money and suddenly disappeared! Liu Liu goes to see Yan Qing and promises to take responsibility, but Yan Qing tells her they will discuss the problem after the New Year when they return to Shanghai. When Liu Liu tells the whole family about the incident, her mother loses it on the spot, and begs Shan Shan not to let Feng Teng pursue the matter.

#22 - Are You Pregnant?

Season 1 - Episode 30 - Aired 7/18/2014

The whole Xue family is shocked to receive the news that Shan Shan is getting married. Her father, who didn’t know Shan Shan had a boyfriend, is caught particularly off-guard, and asks Shan Shan if she is getting married because she is already pregnant. Shan Shan’s mother does her best to help Shan Shan by smoothing things over with the family.

#23 - Responsibility

Season 1 - Episode 29 - Aired 7/18/2014

Although Feng Yue has been designated the wedding planner, she still consults Feng Teng about all aspects of the wedding. During the course of one of their conversations, Feng Teng tells her that he and Shan Shan don’t want children yet. Upon hearing this, Feng Yue gets unnecessarily involved, and takes Shan Shan to a Chinese medicine fertility doctor. Shan Shan dutifully takes the medicine, but wonders if Feng Teng is only marrying her out of a sense of responsibility.

#24 - Zheng Qi Proposes

Season 1 - Episode 28 - Aired 7/17/2014

Moved by Zheng Qi’s sincere confession, Lishu finally promises to marry him, and the two passionately embrace. Zheng Qi tells Lishu that though he loved her the first time he saw her, he had been too young and hadn’t yet found the correct path. Zheng Qi takes out a diamond ring, drops to his knees, and formally proposes to Lishu.

#25 - Xiaowei's Blood Donation

Season 1 - Episode 27 - Aired 7/17/2014

Shan Shan thanks Zhou Xiaowei for the blood donation, and Xiaowei responds by telling her that she was able to join the company in order to provide for Shan Shan – not only Feng Yue. Shan Shan calls Feng Teng to ask if this is true, and discovers that during their separation Feng Teng had continued to pay her expenses. She is extremely moved, and the two are finally reconciled.
