#1 - Shan Shan's Grandpa is Sent to the Hospital

Boss & Me - Season 1 - Episode 20

Shan Shan’s aunt wants to know where Cheng Hao is, and suspects that he and Liu Liu have broken up. After she discovers the truth, she gets worked up and goes off on Liu Liu, pushing away Shan Shan as she tries to intervene. During the melee, Grandpa suddenly faints and is rushed to the emergency room. After finally finding a suitable place for him to recover, Shan Shan calls the hotel to speak with Feng Teng. With her poor English ability, she has difficulty communicating with the concierge. The conversation is overheard by Lishu, who is passing by, and takes the call, identifying herself as Mrs. Feng.

#6 - Lishu Apologizes

Boss & Me - Season 1 - Episode 26

Feng Teng waits for Shan Shan to wake up from her surgery, and tells her that regardless of whether or not she wants to get back together, he will always protect her. The next day, a contrite Lishu visits Shan Shan to apologize for all the ways in which she’d previously wronged her. The two make up after Shan Shan forgives her and jokes that it was the board of directors incident that made everyone aware that Shan Shan was Feng Teng’s girlfriend. Lishu encourages Shan Shan to reconcile with Feng Teng.

Feng Teng comes to see them but Lishu tells him not to bother them because she needs to look after her boyfriend. Zheng Qi awakens to find Lishu sleeping next to him, and it’s clear that she has been taking care of him all night. The two confide in each other, leading to a romantic episode, and Lishu finally comes to terms with herself. When Zheng Qi wakes up to an empty room, he thinks it was all a dream – until he finds a note from Lishu, telling him she’s gone back to China.

Cheng Hao arrives at the party late following a meeting, and is confused when he sees the luxury car out front. Upon discovering that Shan Shan’s boyfriend is Feng Teng, he begins to fawn over him while blaming Liu Liu for not telling him the identity of Shan Shan’s boyfriend sooner, causing everyone present to feel uncomfortable.

Shan Shan calls Feng Teng to ask if this is true, and discovers that during their separation Feng Teng had continued to pay her expenses. She is extremely moved, and the two are finally reconciled.

Although Feng Yue has been designated the wedding planner, she still consults Feng Teng about all aspects of the wedding. During the course of one of their conversations, Feng Teng tells her that he and Shan Shan don’t want children yet. Upon hearing this, Feng Yue gets unnecessarily involved, and takes Shan Shan to a Chinese medicine fertility doctor. Shan Shan dutifully takes the medicine, but wonders if Feng Teng is only marrying her out of a sense of responsibility.
