Allt för Sverige is a Swedish reality show based on the original Norwegian format Culture Shock:Norway. The first season of Allt för Sverige premiered on Sveriges Television SVT1 on October 30, 2011, and the last episode aired on December 18, 2011. The series is about Swedish Americans who return to their Swedish roots. In the program, they give the participants more about their families but in each episode one in the group must leave the show and therefore know less about their ancestry.

#2 - Stockholm
Season 13 - Episode 4 - Aired 11/10/2025
Stockholm offers new experiences for the participants — here they get to try their hand at cooking classic Swedish home-style dishes together with Edward Blom, dive into Södermalm’s vintage world, and come face to face with the majestic ship at the Vasa Museum, preserved thanks to the unique waters of the Baltic Sea. Between laughter, challenges, and adventures, another competition awaits — and the tension is high, because someone must leave Allt för Sverige.
#3 - The Bjäre Peninsula
Season 13 - Episode 1 - Aired 10/20/2025
The picture-postcard beautiful Bjäre Peninsula welcomes ten Swedish-Americans arriving by boat to Torekov. Here, they will learn all about the Bjäre Peninsula’s most famous tuber — the potato. There will be morning swims and traditional Swedish fika with singing at Hasse Andersson’s place. For Maybeth, several emotional surprises also await as she learns more about her family history.

Ten Swedish Americans with a burning desire to explore their roots travel to Sweden. They get to know the country while coming closer to their ancestors and their own family history. But it’s also a competition. One by one, the participants must leave Sweden — until only one winner remains. And the grand reward? An unforgettable meeting with their living Swedish relatives.

Our ten Swedish-Americans continue their journey of discovery through Sweden. In Västergötland, they get to experience two of Baltzar von Platen’s great achievements – and for Trent, it becomes especially meaningful when he follows in the footsteps of an ancestor. In the ancient forest of Tiveden, the participants are confronted with both their greatest hopes and their deepest fears. And then, the season’s first competition awaits. Who will be forced to leave Allt för Sverige?

In Dalarna, everything becomes just a little more Swedish than anywhere else in the country. Here, our Swedish Americans get to dive into traditions that are still alive — from the joyful dance nights at the folk park to the smell of freshly baked old-fashioned crispbread. They also encounter the raggare culture, with shining vintage cars and living nostalgia, which still has its place in today’s Dalarna. And as always, a new competition awaits, where someone must leave Sweden.
