#2 - An Unsurpassable Existence
Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 8 - Episode 10
Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion enter in a U20-qualifying tournament with their respective teams. In this tournament, players are randomly paired up, and the team with the most collective victories will get a guaranteed spot into the U20. As the tournament progresses, Kazuma eventually fights Mamoru. Believing to be on the verge of losing to Mamoru, Kazuma decides to quit before the fight properly concludes, which angers Chrono. He tries to ask Kazuma about his pessimism and convince him to just try, but this leads to a small fight between the two, ending with Kazuma leaving. At the end of the tournament, Shion's team is declared the winner, and Mamoru informs Chrono about thugs who are using Vanguard to attack people.

Although Ren does not give a straight answer, he does provide Kai and his friends with a photo of a place where he recommends them to go. Kai, Miwa, and Naoki then reunite with Misaki and Kamui, and they all prepare to find that location.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 3 - Episode 52
Takuto faces off against his Reversed self while outside, Aichi is being protected by his friends when they get surrounded by other Reversed fighters. Takuto uses Salvation Lion, Grand Ezel Scissors to unlock his rear-guards from Reversed Takuto's lock effects, but he responds with Star-vader, "Omega" Glendios. Reversed Takuto uses its Limit Break to permanently lock all of Takuto's rear-guards one by one while also preventing him from using Ezel Scissors's skill to unlock them. After locking all of Takuto's rear-guards, Reversed Takuto activates the Ultimate Break of "Omega" Glendios to automatically win the fight and then absorbs Takuto into his body. Soon after, Aichi appears before Reversed Takuto.
#7 - Naoki's Fist

Also having lost his memories pertaining to Aichi, Kamui challenges Kai after being recommended to do so by Gouki. Kai mentions Aichi to Kamui, but he does not remember him. When Kamui adds that Aichi must be too weak to remember, Naoki gets infuriated and challenges him in Kai's stead. So, Naoki and Kamui have a cardfight while Kai, Misaki, and Miwa watch. In the midst of battle, Naoki cries out to Kamui to remember by recalling significant moments that he and Aichi shared. When Naoki finishes the game with a Legion attack, Kamui finally regains his memories about Aichi. After the fight, Kamui is informed about everything, and Miwa recommends for the group to search for Aichi by themselves. Elsewhere, a man swears to not allow anyone to get near Aichi...
#8 - Manly Big Bang
Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 4 - Episode 18
Although Naoki deals 5 damage to Serra while destroying his rear-guards, Serra performs Legion and replenishes his forces on the following turn. Serra also reveals to everyone that Aichi was the one who wanted him along with Gaillard, Neve, and Rati to become Quatre Knights. Naoki wonders why Aichi would do all of this and then remembers his training with Leon. Naoki performs Legion and again attacks and retires all of Serra's rear-guards while empowering his own units, leading to his victory. While in disbelief over this loss, Serra faces Judgment from the fight field and loses consciousness. Having sensed Serra's defeat, the other Quatre Knights prepare to face Kai and his friends in battle.
#9 - Aichi Awakens
Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 4 - Episode 24
Neve launches powerful attacks in the hopes of opening Aichi's heart from Link Joker. Although the attacks seem to have an effect on Aichi, he nonetheless remains possessed and wins the fight. However, when Neve receives Judgment as a result of his loss, Aichi snaps out of his trance and temporarily suppresses Link Joker, reverting to his normal self. Meanwhile, Rati is confronted by Serra, who reveals his true intentions to her. Serra wishes to break the remaining seals and use the power of Link Joker for himself. To stop Serra, Rati engages him in a cardfight. Elsewhere, Kai, Gaillard, and Naoki are freed from their ice prison by the unexpected appearances of Ren and Leon.

The final battle between Kai and Aichi commences, with Aichi wanting Kai, Naoki, Ren, and Leon to become Quatre Knights if he wins. To show this, Aichi uses the power of Star-vader, Blaster Joker, which is Blaster Blade tainted by Link Joker, to not only lock all of Kai's rear-guards but also breaks apart his Legion...

At the top of the 2nd inning, Tajima easily hits Kanou’s forkball. Kanai tries to compete with Tajima and do the same, but strikes out instead. Momoe-san then stresses the importance of the team to work together, because Tajima needs the help of his teammates in order to score runs since he is too small to hit home runs on his own. During the bottom of the 2nd, Kanou explains to Oda the secret behind Mihashi’s fastball, saying that it is “faster than a slow fastball”, which is why it is hard to hit.

While Sword fights the Horror Alfil, Bishop appears and prepares to take Sophie whom he calls princess, but again Gina comes to the rescue. Realizing the usefulness of the town has ended, Bishop reduces it to dust, however Gina had taken the precaution of placing a barrier around the townspeople so they were saved. As Sword, Gina and Sophie prepare to continue their journey, Zaruba compliments Sophie on her resourcefulness.
