Carver is interviewing one of the occupants of the car. Able tries to talk to an Asian neighbour of the injured man who dies in hospital.

A man wants detectives to deal with the fact he has been burgled 3 times in a week. Brownlow wants him kept sweet. June is pushed over on the stairs when the flat gets turned over again. Turnham gives chase and ends up in the canal. Cryer arrests 1 of the burglars later. Reg gets punched by the owner of a car showroom whose father died a couple of months ago in a car park. Brownlow wants the charges dropped.

Workmen are burrowing in the crypt of a Catholic church when they come across the skeletal remains of a young man buried in concrete. The squad sets about trying to pinpoint the identity of the body, which was buried with the accoutrements of certain Catholic rituals. Even more oddly, there is a message in Braille buried with the corpse, which tums out to be a passage from one of St Paul's letters to the Corinthians The team suspects that the body was never meant to be discovered.

Boyd and the team continue to begrudgingly rely on serial killer, Thomas Rice's assistance on the case, while also trying to protect Dr. Delaney from experiencing her terrifying ordeal once more at the hands of the copycat assailant. It becomes apparent that he might have help on the outside, so it's crucial that Boyd confronts one of Rice's intended victims, Dr Delaney, to find out what went on during her captivity. Why did he spare her life?

The Cold Case team is forced to enlist the help of a psychotic serial killer named Thomas Rice, AKA "the Gambler" (because he left playing cards at the scenes of his murders). The one woman who escaped death at his hands, the cool and poised Dr Clare Delaney, gets a dreadful reminder of her past ordeal and a fearful shock when a playing card is flung at her car windscreen as she sets off to make a house call on a wet, windy, dark night. The team look again at the Gambler's crimes, prompted by Boyd's unshakeable belief that Rice had claimed other, hitherto undiscovered victims.Boyd - who has personal links to the case - and Grace decide to use detective constable Amelia Silver to lure a confession from Rice.

W.P.C. Brind is late for parade, and misses a warning to the uniform relief to stay away from the Dock Industrial Estate, where C.I.D. and a P.T.17 team are awaiting a security van robbery. While on foot patrol, Brind chases a young girl onto the estate and into the middle of the operation. Burnside stops a suspiscious van, but it turns out to be full of fish. Brind is yelled at by Burnside and Sgt. Cryer, but she has her suspiscions about the girl, Jane, and her family. Meanwhile, Burnside realises the security van visits the estate twice, and he races back with all the armed officers he can muster, just in time to catch the robbers. Brind returns to Jane's flat where she discovers a bedroom full of nicked goods. She arrests Jane's mother, who turns out to be one of Burnside's snouts.

Cryer is filling up a car. Peters gives the relief a lecture about refilling area cars after using them. The fraud squad are visiting the station a day early. CID has Customs and Excise visiting. Peters and Haynes are told of a man who had a heart attack. The ambulance leaves before his belongings can be handed in which results in a complaint being laid. Burnside interviews a boy racer that Viv has arrested.

A man staying in a "halfway house" for released prisoners uses a gun - that is revealed to have been used in contract killings years ago - commit suicide. The gun is later stolen from Frankie's lab. Investigations reveal that the gun could have been used by a hired assassin in 9 murders over the last 30 years. Boyd is taking Anger Management.

Dashwood is worried that there is something fishy about the prescription. Dashwood checks out her doctor. Tim Able is upset at how a father reacted to being asked about his son's tax disc. Frazer is concerned about Able and Garfield's statement taking. She sets up a role play situation so they can practice. It is interrupted by a gas mains leak.

DC Mickey Webb uses Aussie PC Cameron Tait to infiltrate the gang, run by the Fagan-like Gene Bishop, but Cameron may have gone too far when Robbie and Bob Cryer witness him shoplifting in a department store. DC Danny Glaze finds Nathan Morley stuck through with a spear, and Mickey Webb and TDC Brandon Kane face a brush with death when an armed gang springs Nathan's brother Prince from a prison transport. Bob Cryer rallies the troops when Sgt. Boyden's unpopularity casts a cloud over his funeral, and Tony Stamp is surprised by the arrival of Cass Rickman's mother. PC Jim Carver helps his girlfriend Marie out with some domestic issues, and is shocked when she proposes marriage.

Sheelagh Murphy's husband. Despite warnings to tread softly from DCI Meadows, DS Debbie McAllister is sure Murphy is her man, with little regard for her colleague's sensibilities. PC Des Taviner and PC Luke Ashton have their hands full when two elderly men fight over some misplaced books.

PC Tony Stamp tries to do a good deed and convinces PC Jim Carver to invite Sgt. June Ackland to his wedding, but he underestimates June's feelings for Jim. Things aren't looking good for Patrick Murphy after the Garda in Dublin supply DS Debbie McAllister details of his form for assault, but Murphy is bailed due to lack of evidence. Ackland finds herself caught up in a difficult situation when her professionalism is called to into question following Monica Skinner's suicide, and her position as the head of CSU is called into doubt. Meanwhile, Stamp and Hollis find themselves having a slow day, and find that the most exciting thing for them to do is to help accompany an elderly couple to church. Tait is surprised when he is called to the scene of a general robbery and finds that his ex-girlfriend, and the mother of his child, is working there. As well as having to deal with the fall-out, his day turns from bad to worse when he discovers that his daughter, Emily, might be in danger from his ex-girlfriend's new partner, Mark Davies.

Webb is in denial after the attack by Martin Delaney, and tries to keep the incident secret, but is furious when he discovers that Smithy has discussed it. Webb is distraught and battles himself over whether or not to throw in the towel. Detective constable Rob Thatcher arrives for his first day at Sun Hill and is tasked with investigating the malicious stabbing of a Chinese waiter. Best is shocked when he finds his father drinking with Gold. Meanwhile, Taviner and Glaze realise their days might be numbered when former inspector Sally Johnson arrives at Sun Hill, now a private investigator, to look for evidence to prove that Jeff Simpson was innocent of the firebombing of Sun Hill.

The Bill - Season 19 - Episode 101

Okaro decides to head back out on the streets in an attempt to improve morale amongst the relief. Paired with Stamp in the Area Car, the pair's first case involves a robbery in which the two suspects, who fled away in a getaway car, have crashed, resulting in the death of the driver and the passenger being critically injured. As they try to trace the mother of the injured passenger, they both find themselves facing an official complaint. However, when the involvement of a third party is discovered via CCTV evidence, it's soon clear that the pair may have been right all along. Meanwhile, Hunter and Klein investigate a lorry hijacking involving a number of out-of-date stolen geese.

Smithy realises that Young has embarked on a foolhardy undercover mission to investigate the Radford clan and tracks her down, begging her to pull out before it's too late - but she turns a deaf ear to his pleas, putting both their lives in peril. Against her wishes, he organises a raid to rescue her, but Thatcher soon puts a spanner in the works and the pair come to blows - but Smithy manages to talk him round. Meanwhile, newlyweds Carver and Ackland return to Sun Hill, Okaro refuses to accept a caution for possession of cannabis, and arrives at work to be met by a mob of journalists baying for his blood, and Hollis and Chambers get to know one another better in the station's stationery cupboard.

The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 89

Jim sinks to a new low when he pawns valuable police evidence to raise the cash he needs to pay off his gambling debts – then promptly blows the lot on a horse. Andrea refuses to abandon her undercover assignment even though Adam is getting uncomfortably close to the truth when her editor is called in. Gabriel goes to find Hardy's rifle, but Smithy finds it before him, and it appears to be only a matter of time before the culprit is finally caught. However as the building is cleared, Gabriel rushes to Hardy's address, threatening that no one would care if he was shot. As Gabriel grabs a nearby pistol, a struggle ensues and the gun goes off. As SO19 rush to the apartment, Gabriel forces Hardy over the balcony railing but he holds on for dear life as PC Steve Hunter looks on from the ground level, but Gabriel 'drops' Hardy and he falls to his death.
