Two years has passed since the red bands have said their goodbyes and now the group is falling apart. Lleó is finally leaving the hospital after his treatment. Roc, the only red band who still visited him, is moving to Andorra with his family. To be around the gang, Toni is now a caretaker at the hospital. He works in the children's area with a fan club of The Red Band Society. At the end of the day, Lleó is blown away with some awful news from the doctors.

The day of Rym's surgery arrives, but when Lleó gets to know that Benito is in the ICU because of a heart attack, he doesn't think twice before running to be by his bedside. Toni and Roc explain the Red Band Society's fan club how they're going to help a girl who is in a coma. But, this time, it's not Toni who's going to be able to talk to her, Roc is. Cris has an anxiety attack when her boyfriend, Victor, asks her to move in together, so she goes back to the hospital. At the end of the day, the doctors don't have very good news about Benito's heart surgery.

Lleó is frustrated because he's not leaving the hospital and he's also annoyed with his new roomate, Rym, a girl who has cancer. Meanwhile, Jordi tries to have a normal life outside the hospital, avoiding any kind of contact with the red bands. But, someday, an unexpected visit from a good friend from the hospital doesn't let him forget about the guy he used to be. Toni reminds everyone that today would be Ignasi's birthday and tries to reunite all the red bands in the cemetery where he was buried.

Lleó keeps company with Benito, who tells him that, when he was a boy, he formed a group with his brothers similar to the "Red Band Society". But the death of the mother changed everything. Because of this, Benito had left home, abandoning his father and his brothers, something that he has repented all his life. Benito gets worse and they move him to another room, waiting for an imminent outcome. Benito asks Lleó to come back to join the "Red Band Society" and look for the only brother of his who is still alive and ask for forgiveness. Lleó promises he will do it.

Cris suffers in silence because of her breakup with Lleó and when she sees him at the cemetery, she relapses and her anorexia takes over again. Rym is scared as the day of her breast surgery comes closer, the very idea of losing one of her breasts tortures her. Jordi's mother makes an appointment at the hospital for him to be checked-up. Back at the hospital while waiting for the results of his tests, Jordi is given a bed next to Benito. When a nurse visits them, Benito isn't breathing and he goes to the ICU.

Lleó is going to have a biopsy and agrees with Jordi. Little by little, both come back together, despite the initial tension. Between Cris and Eva, your roommate, there is also a lot of tension. Toni finds the key to a car between Benito's things. With the help of the children locate the car and find one of their favorite songs. They decide that they will make it sound to say goodbye. All the "Red Band Society" witness the emotional farewell of Benito. It is a very hard blow for the group, but, somehow, Benito, once again, manages to unite them again.
