Everything changes when fate puts Bukano in her path – Roma, whose wife and daughter were brutally murdered. Chyłka agrees to help the man with the formalities related to the insurance policy. She does not expect that a seemingly trivial inheritance case can become a springboard to her return to the top… To Chyłka's surprise, the policy is for an absurdly high amount and was purchased from Salus, a company whose interests are represented by the law firm Żelazny & McVay, or more precisely – Lew Buchelt and his new trainee Kordian Oryński. The possibility of getting back at the law firm and the prospect of a large salary puts Chyłka in a good mood, although the road to success will not be easy. She can no longer count on Kormak's support, and her relationship with Szczerbiński goes through a serious crisis.
