The biggest surprise, however, is the attitude of Kordian, who openly opposes the judge during the interrogation of one of the witnesses. Shortly after the hearing, Zordon is detained by the police. Who is trying to remove him from the case and why? Chyłka tries to get the trainee out of jail by all means possible. This leads to another argument between her and Szczerbiński.

Despite his condition, Chyłka begins to resemble his former self during the trial - he confronts the prosecutor and questions the truthfulness of one of the witnesses. Will she have a chance to win in the clash with the prosecutor's office, the law firm and Salus? Kordian and Buchelt are summoned to a meeting with Piotrowski, which is also attended by Langer. The Salus board expects the lawyers to do everything so that the company does not have to pay out the million-dollar insurance policy. Zordon begins to understand that any success Chyłka has in the Bukano case puts her and her loved ones in danger.

She does not expect that a seemingly trivial inheritance case can become a springboard to her return to the top… To Chyłka's surprise, the policy is for an absurdly high amount and was purchased from Salus, a company whose interests are represented by the law firm Żelazny & McVay, or more precisely – Lew Buchelt and his new trainee Kordian Oryński. The possibility of getting back at the law firm and the prospect of a large salary puts Chyłka in a good mood, although the road to success will not be easy. She can no longer count on Kormak's support, and her relationship with Szczerbiński goes through a serious crisis.
