Former AFL player Darren is flying solo on the tools, with wife Dee feeling under the weather. Michael's also flying solo, on duty in The Pop Up Shop. Rumours circulate that one team may be cheating and Scotty calls for an audit that all the teams must participate.

It's Challenge Day and the teams meet Shelley in Geelong where they must repurpose second hand items, turning them into gifts for each other. There's a $5000 cash prize for the winning creation, and some special guest judges join Shelley and the teams.
