This Universal classic gives us the iconic character, the iconic hairstyle and the universal reference for a female train-wreck, regardless the reason. The Frankenstein saga continues as Dr. Frankenstein is visited by an even eviler genius, Dr. Pretorius. After displaying his accomplishments in creation of life, he coerces Dr. Frankenstein to create a mate for the monster (Karloff), only thought to be kill in the windmill fire at the end of the first picture.

Detective Nigel Strangeways, also dealing with his own grief and a potentially linked police cover-up, finds himself entangled in Frances's plan and the investigation into the hit-and-run.

Tonight on MeTV - we witness Dan Curtis' take on the classic novel that began the tale of the most famous vampire in "Dan Curtis' Dracula!" Note: this 1974 made-for-TV production, starring Jack Palance, was originally called "Bram Stoker’s Dracula" - but is now identified by the Dan Curtis title to avoid confusion with the Francis Ford Coppola 1992 film - also due to Coppola actually buying the exclusive rights to the title "Bram Stoker's Dracula"! Notably, tonight’s film was really the first version of the Dracula story to touch upon the Vlad the Impaler history of the Count, and to adhere more closely (but not entirely) to the original novel. After a long absence on our program, we are so happy to be able to present, once again, another landmark Universal horror film- one in which the title "creature" appears only briefly, but is still one of the most memorable characters in the studio's horror gallery- it's the 1935 sequel to the original "Frankenstein"- "Bride of Frankenstein"- as the first entry in this month's theme- "Rotten Relatives Reunion"!

In the GOOD part of this episode, Svengoolie recaps the design and creation of his new coffin, seen here for the first time.

Dracula's Daughter tells the story of Countess Marya Zaleska, the daughter of Count Dracula and herself a vampire. Following Dracula's death, she believes that by destroying his body, she will be free of his influence and live normally. When this fails, she turns to a psychiatrist, Dr. Jeffrey Garth (Kruger). The Countess kidnaps Dr. Garth's assistant, Janet (Marguerite Churchill), and takes her to Transylvania, leading to a battle between Dr. Garth and the Countess in an attempt by him to save Janet.
