GameCenter CX (domestically imported as Retro Game Master) is a Japanese television series where Shinya Arino, a member of comedy duo Yoiko, plays Japan's most popular classic video games and records his progress. From shooters (his worst genre) to puzzles (his best) and anything in between, Arino tackles an amazing variety of games. He is supported by his Assistant Directors (ADs) and staff, who offer moral support, tips and tricks, and occasionally take the controller and play themselves. He also gets the chance to interview game designers and to visit arcades all over Japan.

This is it. The dramatic conclusion is one of the most legendary games of the NES era of gaming, Dragon Quest! With the Princess still in peril, it will be up to Arino to destroy the DragonLord once and for all and free the people of Alefgard. In a quick dose of GCCX News, we catch up with Arino as he attends The Tokyo E-Sports Festival to challenge Bakarhythm in 5 rounds of retro gaming action. We are being taken to school in the latest segment, Learning Game Course. The first lesson will be math and has Sensei Kibe schooling Arino with Underground Continent Orudoora.

If there's anything that Arino is known for besides his gaming skills, it's his rhythm. And that is exactly what will be challenged when he goes up against Un Jammer Lammy. Following up from the cult classic PaRappa the Rapper, Un Jammer Lammy sees our hero Lammy running late to a concert that could be her big break. It will be up to Arino to rock out by any means necessary and make sure Lammy makes it on time. Arino's modestly sized ice-cream gives as hint as to what is being announced in the latest ice-cream news break. 2-player without honor or humanity tackles one of the quintessential 2-player games in the form of the original Mario Bros. This time, Arino will face off against Itou in an attempt to prevent him from clearing phase 4.

The Arino express is back up and running after 7 years off the tracks and heading on a collision course with Densha De Go 64. After recently appearing in a movie as a train driver, Arino will hopefully be able to teach Shinjuku from Tokyo station without resorting to continues and derailing his challenge. An Ice Cream corner without the ice cream gives a hint of an upcoming nautical adventure for Arino.
