The Bill - Season 17 - Episode 7
Supt. Chandler is speaking at a meeting on the Larkmead Estate, but vandalism and a petrol bomb cut short his talk. Sgt. Ackland is called to the house of local MP Stephen Hadley and his wife Fiona, where their infant child has died of serious injuries. Forensic examination reveals the baby was thrown to the floor, and Fiona Hadley says her husband was responsible. Hadley is arrested, but denies her claim. A lack of evidence sees him released, but he is arrested again for beating his wife when he returns home. It turns out the Hadleys' other child knocked the baby's high chair over.

The sustained abuse towards schoolteacher Sonia Graham runs into overdrive when she is found in her flat, having been shot through the chest, and the list of suspects soon begins to mount. Glaze struggles to get Prince's brother Nathan back on side after harsh mishandlings by Webb, so Webb decides to trail him to see if he leads him to the top prize - and soon enough, his suspicions are proved to be correct. Young finally manages to get young rape victim Louanna to open up about her ordeal, and subsequently, members of the Bevan Park crew are arrested on suspicion. On the way to respond to an urgent call for assistance, Hollis notices Boyden pulled over at the roadside in a clinch with Abi Nixon.

The Bill - Season 19 - Episode 24
PC Polly Page returns to duty at Sun Hill following her breakdown. She is assigned to the CSU, and paired with PC Cathy Bradford. Page and Bradford investigate a stalking case which becomes far less straightforward when both parties accuse the other of harrasment. PC Gary Best goes undercover as a schoolboy to investigate drug dealers targetting the school, but when his information leads to a raid, Abigail Nixon blows his cover. Arrested for assault by PC Luke Ashton, Acting DI Nixon and Sgt. Murphy witness Abi putting the moves on a befuddled Ashton, making Sgt. Matt Boyden's denials slightly more believable. PC Jim Carver spends the day with the mother of murdered teacher Sonia Graham, but his professional role as Family Liaison Officer is comprimised when they end up in bed together.

Osbourne finds herself troubled after dealing with an asylum seeker, and finds it difficult to keep her professional and personal objectives separate. Torn between a war-torn Iran and a troublesome Sun Hill estate, Osbourne can't work out what sounds better for the woman and her young daughter. Osbourne is later reprimanded by Gold and warned to stay well away from the situation. Meanwhile, Sharpe and Hunter investigate an alleged assault on a lawyer by a female colleague, but Hunter suspects that ulterior motives are at work. Meanwhile, Ackland's hopes of engagement to Jim are boosted when she finds a ring in his desk, only to be told by Jim that he's engaged to Marie Graham.

Sgt. June Ackland is feeling sheepish about last night's blunder - thinking PC Jim Carver was about to propose, but work beckons. An elderly Czechoslovakian woman is being victimised on the local estate and June feels it is racially motivated. DS Phil Hunter and DC Eva Sharpe are puzzled when solicitor Robert Fenn withdraws his assault complaint against colleague Kim Bradbury, but then they discover Kim has resigned. Eva confesses she visited the seedy bar where Robert and his friends hang out and where the assault happened and she convinces Phil that they're dealing drugs. Cameron Tait goes undercover to check out the action, gets the evidence and they raid the bar. PC Gemma Osbourne is determined to help Ziba and her daughter Niki and can't even conceive of their returning to Iran, but at what cost to her career? Having already been warned off by Insp. Gold, her conscience gets the better of her, and she helps the woman escape. A screaming match ensues and Gemma is given her marching

On her first day back in uniform, Sgt June Ackland finds a man brutally stabbed in the house of prominent CPS prosecutor Carl Harris. Arresting Harris for GBH, they find back at the station that Supt Adam Okaro has some history with him - Harris threw out an assault case Okaro had worked on, and Okaro suspects he is corrupt. Harris's daughter Natasha stays quiet, and it is clear she knows more than she is letting on. Acting DI Samantha Nixon investigates a fraud case Carl Harris was prosecuting, but Ackland convinces Natasha to reveal the truth - the victim was her biological father, and had been blackmailing Carl. PC Cameron Tait takes desperate action when he thinks his daughter Emily might be in danger from her mother's boyfriend, Mark Davies. When Davies ends up in hospital after a mysterious assault, PC Gary Best looks on in horror as Tait bundles Emily into a minicab and speeds away...

The Bill - Season 19 - Episode 72
Ackland consoles Meadows' broken wife Laura when she informs her that she has been raped. The case is immediately referred to Barton Street, where sexual offences expert Terry Perkins deals with the case. A search of the crime scene reveals a lost driving licence belonging to Keith Brennan, the prime suspect in the string of online-ad burglaries back at Sun Hill. When Webb discovers Brennan is in custody elsewhere, his digging to discover why leads him to accidentally break the news to an unsuspecting Meadows. Meanwhile, Klein and Tait solve a spate of muggings involving skateboards and a stun gun, and Best is furious when Harman invites his father to a surprise birthday party.

The Bill - Season 19 - Episode 88
McAllister and Hunter investigate a serious assault on a prostitute, while Okaro is forced to deal with National Party councillor Nicola Marsh, who is trying to raise racial tensions by highlighting an increase in black-on-white crime. Best recovers in hospital after throwing Jules Ellis to his death from the station roof, and falling off himself. McAllister is saddened to discover that Becker died the night before, and Sun Hill deal with the fallout due to the death of the suspect, who swallowed his tongue in custody. Murphy admits to Okaro that Taviner was responsible for the Sun Hill firebombing when forensics discover that he wasn't killed in the Area Car warehouse explosion. Page is found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. Kent gets close to Ackland.

The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 6
Nixon is tasked with investigating a gang who are making and distributing fake DVDs. Her investigations lead her to a pawnshop, where a stack of the fake DVDs are being prepared for shipping to a third-world country. But her determination to bring down the gun-toting leader of the gang leads to unexpected tragedy. Meanwhile, Okaro faces a tough time as the fraud investigations into his wife Denise's finances continue, and she is arrested, following the allegations of conspiracy to theft. With scandal-hungry journalists gathering like vultures, it seems things can get no worse when she admits she does harbour feelings for the Rev Andho. Murphy believes she has sighted Taviner outside the station.

The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 14
Manson and Sharpe investigate the case of a missing girl and discover that it is the girl's abusive grandfather who has taken her away. Page returns to Sun Hill and is delighted to discover she can have a civilian position as CAD officer, but will the frustration of not being a copper get to her? Ackland assists with Manson and Sharpe's investigation, but the imminent exposure of Kent is playing on her mind, and when Carver and Kent come to blows, things boil over. Smithy and Carver agree to keep quiet for Ackland's sake. Young confides in Hemmingway about her night of passion with Tait, and despite the fact it could be the start of something special, Smithy is not happy and threatens to stand in their way.

DC Suzie Sim arrives for her first day at Sun Hill, and it's Gary who ends up playing sidekick when the pair investigate a spate of incidents at a local Asylum Hostel. The investigation, however, leads to the arrest of Terry Perkins' nephew Bradley, who faces charges of criminal damage and sexual assault on an Asian immigrant.
#21 - A Difficult Subject
The Bill - Season 21 - Episode 6
Jo and Suzie investigate when a young boy is attacked in an area known to be frequented by rent boys. Arresting their prime suspect proves to be the catalyst for a much bigger problem, when suspect Ravi Shah accuses DAC Roy Pearson of being part of a paedophile ring. However, when Suzie organises a raid on the home of known pimp Julian Hargreaves, she fails to uncover any proof of his involvement. Meanwhile, Ramani interviews Abi over her accusations against Hugh and a search of a previously undiscovered flat belonging to Hugh reveals vital evidence to prove his involvement, and suspect Greg Campbell is charged with the murder of Karen Burnett.
