Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that's reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he's back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life.

Takemichi and his friends are attacked by Tenjiku, and with the help of the guard squad commander Nahoya Kawada (Smiley) and vice-captain Souya Kawada (Angry), they get into Tenjiku's hideout. There was Tsurucho, Takemichi's childhood friend, who told him that they were enemies, but advised him to be careful of the traitor. The next day, the Tokyo Manjikai holds an emergency meeting to gather information about Tenjiku, but Takemichi is concerned about Tsurucho's advice and Kisaki's plan.

While Chifuyu and the other three are holding up Taiju outside the church, Takemichi carries out his plan to persuade Hakkai, who should already be inside.

Takemichi and the others struggle alone, but they are unable to compete due to the overwhelming difference in numbers. In a desperate situation, Kanji Mochizuki (Mocchi), a member of the four heavenly kings of Jersey, appears in addition to Risaki, who is dressed in a Jersey suicide uniform, and the situation is further brought to the brink of despair.
