The Blues finally arrive in Dakar and Fede is there to welcome them along with the Sai-Sai, the best team in all of Senegal. Gabriel is in seventh heaven because he can, for once, spend some time with his parents and watch an incredible street football match: the African final for the next World Cup!

During a long weekend, Tag is left alone at the Institute. He gets to know the Yamakazis and who adopt him like a little brother. With them, he really has the impression that they are the family he's never had. He is overcome with uncertainty and thinks of quitting the Blues.

The Blues go off to Asia to participate in an official match for the World Cup qualifications. They discover that the children of the Serpents of Mekong team must work in a factory which exploits them, deprives them of school and of football. Disgusted, the Blues come to their aid.

Samira, increasingly exasperated by Jeremy's puerile behavior, meets Matt, a handsome young guy, who attracts her by his independent, tough guy stance. What she doesn't know is that Matt is a thug who can get her into trouble. Fortunately, the rifflers are around to rescue her from the difficult situation Matt gets her into.

Brains is spending a lot of time with Sanakha, one of the girl's in the Saï Saï team and The Rifflers accuse him of not attending training enough. Brains decides to stop seeing Sanakha for a while. But one of the Saï Saï players gets injured and, quite naturally, Brains offers to replace him. His offer is definitely not appreciated by the rest of the The rifflers.

The summer holidays have just begun. Shark calls the The rifflers to announce some news: they've qualified for the Street Football World Cup. The teams will be housed on the Melville an old freighter, docked in the port.

The second World Cup Street Football qualifications move along peacefully just until two professional thieves decide to seize the opportunity and make their mark.

#20 - A Friend in Need

The Blues receive a message from Zanghezino, their Brazilian friend, who announces that he can no longer compete in the Latin American final qualifications against the Meninos, the Buenos Aires Gauchos and the Lima Aztecs because he needs to do his sick father's job. The Blues make the most of a week's vacation to go to Rio and try to come to the aid of their friend.

The Blues are invited by Fede to Greenland to train a team that needs to play in the qualifications for the Far North (against teams from Siberia, Alaska and Svalbard Islands). The Polar Bears, the team in question, is, if truth be told, not really up to it.

For his birthday, Gabriel is invited by his parents to meet them in Dakar. Gabriel posts a notice on the street football site hoping to collect sporting equipment to give to the less fortunate children who he'll have the chance to meet on his trip to Africa.

It's election time in Port Marie. The opposition candidate (fighting against Roger Maroni, the mayor) decides to base his whole campaign on the lack of security and disturbance to public order posed by the Street Football World Cup. He even manages to get the hundred kids thrown off the freighter.
