While Baća unsuccessfully continues his attempts to "rescue" Maraš from his bleak entrepreneurial life and drag him back into his world of money, partying, and drugs, Car begins to panic upon seeing the scale of Dimitar's new and extremely risky business deal—one that Stupar has also greenlit after a meeting with his superior, the mysterious figure known as Red (Aleksandar Berček). Dimitar's intentions do not go unnoticed, as news of them reaches Vajo himself...

It becomes clear that Maraš's investment in eastern Serbia will play a much larger role in future events when it begins to be discussed in the halls of parliament. While Car tries his best to distance himself from his past, Maraš continues preparations for the inevitable conflict, still without a clear plan and completely unaware that the list of his opponents is growing.

Left with no remaining options, Maraš turns to the last instance and realizes that, as always, everything was in his hands and depended on his own decisions. Upon returning to Belgrade, finding himself completely alone for the first time, Maraš accepts a new role that has been imposed on him due to circumstances he was previously unaware of.

An unexpected phone call finally allows Maraš and Baća to return to Belgrade, though not exactly via the expected route. On the other side of the border, Jovana’s article about a benefactor from the shadows triggers reactions from the remaining participants. For some of them, this will also mark the beginning of the end.

As he makes his way toward the Adriatic Sea, Maraš suffers a new blow upon realizing that his Croatian partner can provide him with no protection. While Sofija tries to uncover everything about Maraš's business dealings, Belgrade, for the umpteenth time, becomes a battleground for conflict between East and West. However, Russia and America are not the only countries seeking to exert their influence on Serbian soil.

Putting in a great effort, Maraš tries to find balance in his private life. He is helped neither by his distrustful and seriously ill father, Lazar, nor by Sofija, who decided to move on with her life without him while he was still in prison.

Although it appears that her plan, despite the difficulties she encounters, is moving in the desired direction with the help of Lazar and Jovana, Sofija has no idea that an intruder has appeared on her path toward the final goal. Red's position is becoming increasingly unstable, which does not affect his need to continue the hunt for Maraš, who in turn hopes that a new acquaintance will secure his return to Serbia.

After successfully returning a stolen car to its owner for a ten-thousand-euro ransom, Maraš spots the latest Mercedes model on the street and decides to steal it, unaware that it belongs to the drug mafia and is full of drugs. At the same time, the car is being expected by Golub (Nebojša Glogovac), a criminal from Belgrade who collaborates with the police.

Season 3 - Episode 11 - Aired 4/1/2023

Just when he thought the situation couldn't get any worse, Maraš receives news that further distances him from the hope that the risk he took by going to Kosovo will pay off. In preparation for the upcoming negotiations, he is distracted by the fact that Sofija has been acting on her own behind his back the whole time, while Baća's behavior is becoming increasingly risky.

The chaos triggered by Car's latest action quickly engulfs all participants of the "South Wind" saga. While some finally get the opportunity to settle scores with their opponents or simply profit from someone else's misfortune, others are forced to save their lives by fleeing across the borders of Serbia.

After meeting with the most powerful bosses of the Serbian underworld, Maraš realizes that only the weakest are by his side, while among the others hides the man who will take his place. News of Maraš's intention to come after him reaches Red and the alliance he belongs to very quickly. Sensing the beginning of the end, Maraš and Car primarily want to ensure the safety of their families.

Season 3 - Episode 4 - Aired 3/5/2023

While preparing with Car's help to finally make his first move and seek allies in the upcoming conflict, the death of journalist Bojana flings open the doors to new problems that will descend upon the unaware Maraš, his "Mirijevo crew," and his family. As the trail of blood slowly enters the National Assembly, the battlefield becomes crowded with yet another interest group, whose control center is located far beyond the borders of Serbia.

The time they spend with their loved ones and performing regular business duties only briefly creates an illusion of a normal life for Maraš, Car, and Baća. Events over which they have less and less influence quickly pull them back to reality—especially Car, who realizes that one cannot escape the past. Sofija also feels the influence of the past when she finds herself at the center of a political scandal during a night out.

The regional hit that exceeded all expectations brings many exciting moments, twists, plots, and dangerous adventures for the main characters in the new season titled "South Wind: On the Edge." The series follows the life of Serbian underworld leader and drug lord Petar Maraš, who is so deeply entangled that there is hardly any way out. After purchasing land on the planned route of the "South Stream" pipeline for supplying Western Europe with Russian gas, he attempts to save himself and his crew by blackmailing the state. However, it soon becomes clear that Maraš must make much riskier moves to ensure that he, his family, and his friends survive the war imposed on them by the leader, Red. In short, the story becomes even more complicated as the criminal underworld increasingly affects characters who are not directly involved.

News of Maraš's early release from prison surprises everyone. However, an even bigger surprise proves to be Maraš's decision regarding his future life path, which he shares with Car during their first meeting after regaining his freedom.

Maraš and Baća try to discover who leaked the information to the police that he was the one who stole the car. Dimitar arrives in Belgrade to collect the body of his son, Hristo. Golub informs him that he can only expect the drug money once the car has been found.

#17 - Episode 7

While Maraš and Baća get used to their new reality, Red endures criticism from colleagues who have less and less understanding of his self-will. Larisa finally moves her search from Russian soil to Belgrade, making the situation on the battlefield even more complicated. Sofija also contributes to this, taking matters into her own hands as she begins a struggle to preserve her family.

After the failed exchange of the Mercedes for Sofija and one hundred thousand euros, and Baća being wounded in a shootout with Golub's men, Maraš is left completely alone. In desperation, he kidnaps Stupar, who offers him a proposal on how to eliminate Golub and save his own life.

In the first episode of the series, we follow the arrival of a Mercedes car filled with drugs departing from Bulgaria for Serbia. The drugs are sent to Belgrade by Dimitar (Hristo Shopov), a Bulgarian drug lord, and are to be delivered by his son Hristo (Ivaylo Zahariev), who got married the day before.
