BBC comedy about the lives, loves and hates of a group of 16-year-old girls who live on a South London housing estate. Viva Bennett (Adelayo Adedayo) lives with her dad Rob (Colin Salmon), a fire fighter, and her stepmother Anna (Dolly Wells), who is also the P.E. teacher at her school. In between playing on the same school football team, Viva, and friends Holli (Natasha Jonas), Saz (Mandeep Dhillon) and Amber (Alice Felgate), navigate a not-too-tentative path through the perils of adolescence, exploring along the way the ups and downs of school life, boys, homework and sex.

After an eventful party, Holli is frozen out of the group and has to find a new set of friends. Meanwhile Saz and Amber both set their sights on the same boy and compete with each other to get his attention. Anna tells Viva to make space for the new baby – but Viva gets revenge at Anna’s baby shower.

The girls head off for their first music festival. Despite having to work on a t-shirt stall they still manage to pack in plenty of fun, hanging out with three boys in the tent next door. Fed up with the other girls calling her boring, Viva decides to take advantage of some new experiences on offer at the festival.

Viva attempts to mend the relationship between Amber and her sister, Topaz, but regrets interfering when she realizes what Topaz is really like.

Saz discovers there’s a boy at Greenshoots who really likes her - unfortunately she doesn’t know who it is.
