Round The Twist is a wacky TV series written by the hilarious children's author, Paul Jennings. It follows the bizarre lives of the Twist family. Tony Twist (a.k.a. Dad) and his three children – the twins Pete and Linda and youngest son, Bronson – move from "The Big Smoke" (the city) to the sea-side village of Port Niranda. They move into an old lighthouse, previously owned by their new neighbour, Nell, and their new lives begin. Strange things always happen to the Twist family, strange but hilarious things. Each episode is a self-contained story with an amazing twist in the tail.

She discovers this after Aunt Tuneless uses it against Foxy (who resembles Mr. Gribble, and has a son that looks like Gribble junior).

When the Twists decide to throw out all their junk, they realise how much of it they really want. The only thing left in the junk pile is Linda's old toy Veronique which she doesn't want. Gribbs, meanwhile is in love with Linda after the Book of Love comes into play but Linda has problems when Veronique comes to life and starts haunting her.

Remember the strange person who keeps popping up in the lighthouse? It turns out she is Princess Ariel of Atlantis, and is looking for more people for her home. She has chosen the Twist and Gribble kids to join her. While Pete, Linda, Tiger, Rabbit, Gribbs and Bronson are all initially thrilled to get the chance but learn they can never come back if they go. After Pete realises what he feels for Fiona and the rest of the group realise how much they like Port Niranda they realise they can't go. Meanwhile, Fay handcuffs herself to Mr. Gribble and then goes into labour!

Mr. Gribble fires Linda from his ice-cream parlour so she moves to Paulo's. But Paulo's secret is Giorgio, a freak who makes ice-cream from his nose and who has lived his whole life in the van. Linda decides to rescue him but he may not be ready for the world that lies beyond.
