Freed after 20 years in prison, the child killer Guy Béranger found refuge with the monks in Vielsart, a small village in Belgian's Ardennes. He is placed under the protection of a young Federal Police's inspector, Chloé Muller. A little while after his release, a little girl disappears.

Following the failure of the operation, Vandevelde sent Béranger back to the abbey even though he claimed to have seen Jonas. Back in Vielsart, Lucas discovers his brother Patrick eaten away by alcohol and encourages him to take his life in hand. Meanwhile, Chloé discovers that Jonas has taken up residence in a nearby housing estate. But how do you know which house her sister Jessica is in? Locked up and exhausted by hunger, the girls try to find a solution, but Tensions within the group are increasing.

#2 - The Promised Land

Despite their parents' protests, Jessica and the girls are kept at a distance from their families, kept under observation and undergoing a battery of psychological tests. For her part, Chloé has to reconnect with her mother, whom she hasn't seen since her parents' divorce. #4 - The Beast

While the party is in full swing, Chloé understands that Béranger is going to take advantage of this event to attack a child from the village.

Accompanied by Lucas who suspects him of plunging back, Béranger is taken to Chloé's crisis unit. According to him, the girls are hidden at the home of a man Paul Van Acker knew in his past. For her part, Jessica tries to escape from the cellar where she is held captive and learns from the girls that Paul has been absent for several days.

At the Vielsart police bureau, Michaël makes a major discovery in the investigation when he stumbles upon a video that Laurent made the night of Noémie's murder.

When they learn that she also tried to contact her idol at Vielsart, they decide to use Béranger to lure in the young woman.

The corpse discovered at the abandoned farm is identified as the priest of Jasmine's parish. Chloé and Michaël learn more about the Toy Maker's MO: he scouts his future victims the day of their First Communion. They manage to find a name: Simon Herman. They get ready for a police intervention. Lucas is back at the abbey: Father Mertens, still sick, convinces him to take up Béranger's noviciate. Jasmine's punishment is still not over.

#25 - Resurrection

Simon Herman was a trap. Caroline resents Chloé more and more as she keeps putting Michaël in dangerous situations. Patrick and Lana reconcile and join forces to reopen the inn.
