Before he can even interrogate her, a terrible murder occurs before their eyes... The deposed commander and the mysterious woman he has just met will have to team up to investigate, and their collaboration will create many sparks!

Elisa and her daughter are woken up on Christmas morning by a police raid: the anti-gang squad is looking for Roman, whom they accuse of robbing a police van and shooting a policeman. Elisa refuses to believe that the man she loves could be guilty, but a mountain of evidence is piling up against him. She then asks for the help of Commander Rocher and the DYP team to try to understand what happened. They will then bring to light a Machiavellian machination, from which our heroes will not emerge unscathed...

Elisa's life is turned upside down again when her daughter's father comes out of prison and rings her doorbell. Unsettled, she doesn't know how to deal with this return... Commander Rocher and the DYP team are therefore faced with a real mystery: how to solve a murder for which we know nothing about the victim and the circumstances of his death? Dragged along by Roman, her companion who has just been released from prison, Elisa crosses the yellow line and finds herself in police custody. Freed by Rocher, she joins the DYP just in time to hear explosive news for the investigation: Hyppolite has discovered that the murder they are investigating is actually part of a series of assaults. The culprit is escalating in violence, and he doesn't intend to stop there... Rocher and Elisa then engage in a real race against time to prevent a new crime. Especially since the killer's next target is very close to our team...

Pressed for time, Commander Rocher's men try to unravel the secret of this intriguing forest... and one of them will not emerge unscathed.

Elisa Bergman had to work for the DYP in order to avoid prison. Never short of ideas to get out of a bad situation, she calls on a former member of the team to come to her rescue. This help will not be too much to investigate a particularly atrocious murder: a young woman was asphyxiated after her mouth was stapled. Elisa wonders about the symbolism of this gesture: did the victim have a truth that they wanted to prevent her from revealing? Following this lead, she and Rocher will unearth an old case, where justice has been flouted and a monstrous man is allowed to go free.
