Discover the rise of Orelsan, one of the most iconic and popular French rappers of his generation. This documentary in several parts, retraces the atypical course of the singer, during his tours, for the first time in front of the camera.
2011. With Le Chant des Sirènes, Orelsan has changed dimension. As a king of counterpoint, he decided not to continue his solo adventure. He revived the Casseurs Flowters, the group created with Gringe in the early 2000s. But Gringe hasn't been rapping for years... Once their universe has been rediscovered, their wacky adventure will come to life on CD, on television and even in the movies...
2006. Orelsan is a rapper from the provinces. To release his first album, he has to manage alone. The arrival of MySpace is a godsend. But he still had to find a record company. With his friends, always followed by the camera of his brother Clément, they launch a challenge: to make a video clip themselves, in Caen, and to make it broadcast on TV.
2008. Orelsan is now writing an album. But none of his tracks are radio-compatible. There is only one solution: to go and find his public by performing on stage. Orel and his friends, always followed by the camera of Clément, his little brother, manage to set up a tour. While everything is going well, a song of Orel resurfaces and launches a huge controversy.
2010. One year after the controversy, Orelsan stopped music altogether. When Skread and Ablaye persuaded him to make a second album, the hardest thing was to find a way back. But the lost loser from the provinces metamorphoses and his second album is a triumph. Always followed by his brother's camera, Orel is ready to live his first real tour, carried by his very first popular hit.
