After reluctantly agreeing to help Alex find Amy, Jay finds the camera he thought he left in the woods and the two leave to find a hotel nearby.

Jay points out that much of this is now Alex filming himself rather than Marble Hornets raw footage.

He leaves his room and has a conversation with another person staying at the hotel named Jessica. Jessica says that she finds Jay's name familiar. Jay mentions that his camera has been picking up strange noises during the night.

Jay goes location scouting with Alex, in a gazebo in a forest and then in a copse of tall trees. The red tower is visible across a field from the tall trees, and when Jay asks what it is, Alex says it was a climbing wall or something from the fire department. There is heavy audio distortion in the location scouting clips, as well as visual tearing. Jay notes the visual tearing at the end of the video, and points out incidences of it in other clips he's posted.

Season 1 - Episode 14 - Aired 8/9/2009
Entry #11 was posted on August 09, 2009. It has the description "Alex missed something." In total, this clip is 1:58 long. The clip starts focused on Alex laying in his bed. Covering the wall behind him are charcoal sketches (presumably related to the ones Alex was drawing in Entry 8). Several of the sketches have visible text: "OPERATOR", "SEES ME", "DON'T RUN", "RUN AWAY", and "KILLS ME". The rest are of the Operator symbol (an ellipse with an X through it), and rough sketches of the Operator itself and other humanoid figures. Spaces on the paper that aren't covered in drawings have been shaded in. For no reason apparent in the clip, Alex gets out of bed and grabs his camera. He walks to the staircase, turns off the light, and makes his way down the stairs to the venetian blinds. He points his camera through them but does not see anything. He walks into his office and checks through the blinds, but sees nothing unusual. As he leaves the office, the Operator can be seen on the right-hand side standing in front of the curtains. Alex looks through another set of blinds but still sees nothing. He heads back to the staircase, turns the lights back on, and walks up the stairs. Placing the camera on a red book on the table in front of his bed, Alex gets back into bed. In the last seconds of the clip, a shadow moves past his wall and a breeze moves the sketches slightly.

Alex rushes from the window to another part of his house, where the Operator is passing by another window (moving at an angle).

Jay tells Jessica that he is staying at the hotel while his house is being renovated and Jessica mentions that she was kicked out of her apartment. The next night when Jay hears banging sounds from Jessica's room again, he confronts her but she acts like she does not know what he is talking about.

The video starts with quick flashes of the words "Rat" "He" "Ore" and "Top" - an anagram for "the operator". Buzzing can be heard during this segment. Footage from a handheld camcorder flickers, then steadies and zooms in on a white convertible. Jay walks around the back of the car and enters in through the driver's side - Jay confirmed later via twitter that he was looking for batteries for Alex's camera. This places the footage directly after Jay's exit from Entry 13. Cars passing on the nearby street are the only audio - this background sound was also heard in Entry 13. Whoever is filming Jay is hiding next to a tree behind cover of ferns and other leafy plants. The car's license plate cannot be seen throughout the clip (it is covered by a fern leaf the entire time). The video seems to have a filter applied that turns darker areas of the clip completely black. Jay pops the trunk, gets out of the car, and opens the trunk. After a few moments, he finds what he is looking for, closes the trunk (while looking at the camera for a split second), and locks up the car. He runs back to where he started - the camera follows his movements, then runs after him. A beep is heard, and the video cuts. If this video is downloaded from YouTube and played in a standard media player, the text "WHEREIS THEARK" is displayed on the last frame of the clip.

The video seems to be in four sections. In the first section, there is no audio track, and the only visual is a blinking "begin". In the second section, a series of zeroes is presented, where the main message seems to be: 00000000000000000000000000 00000 000000000000000000 000000000000000 In the third section, some tree tops are filmed in the rain during a thunder storm. The audio appears to be of that storm - including rain and thunder sounds - along with a frequency of 1046 Hz. Right before the cut to the fourth section, the word "operator" appears in the plant. In the fourth section, a heavily distorted audio clip is played and the screen is filled with zeroes. Among the zeroes are the letters "T H E R E W A S M R E."
