Thanks to his work at Sylvan Learning Center, Zach's grades are dramatically improving. For extra credit in history class, Zach makes a Civil War movie with his friends, but he has to scramble when he realizes he hasn't written a part for his girlfriend Danni.

When Matt Roloff learns of an Iraqi family with dwarf children who are in severe need of medical intervention, he is compelled to help them. Amy and the Roloff kids are concerned for Matt's safety as he makes the long, difficult and dangerous journey to Baghdad. Once there, he falls in with the U.S. military, who provides armed escort into the Green Zone - where Matt meets the family and gains their trust. Touched by the familys heartwarming spirit, Matt gets photos and X-rays of the kids to bring back to America for evaluation by medical specialists.

Season 6 - Episode 20 - Aired 12/15/2008

Matt and Amy's families gather for their holiday celebration. Coordinating airport pickups, shopping trips and a meal for 25 guests is almost too much for Amy to manage. The chaos reaches a fever pitch when Matt begins a last-minute project: a giant 30-foot "tree of lights" he hopes will be seen from miles away. The family gathering includes Matt's brother Sam (a little person), Amy's parents Gordon and Pat, and a guest appearance by Santa himself.

It's been over two years since both Matt and Amy's families got together, so they invite the Knights and the Roloffs to the farm for an early holiday celebration. Debates over fake snow and artificial trees put Matt at odds with Amy, as she attempts to transform their home into a "Roloff Winterland."

Amy joins her three siblings in Taos, N.M., to celebrate sister Kathie's 50th birthday. They have adventures riding horses, whitewater rafting and experiencing a Native American sweat lodge, but the fun grinds to a halt when Amy finds herself on the phone, dealing with chaos back at the farm.

Zach and Jeremy have reached adulthood-sort of. They're 18, but they don't seem ready to leave the nest. Amy prepares a pool party for the twins and their guests, but when Matt drags his feet on getting the pool in working order, the whole party is in jeopardy.

Amy visits a little person friend in Napa, Calif., where she speaks at a local church group for Mother's Day. Back home, Matt tries to organize a big surprise for her: a gazebo built on her favorite spot on the farm. But the project gets complicated, and Matt and the kids worry they won't finish before Amy gets home.

#14 - The Bug Is Back

Now that their old, yellow Volkswagen Beetle has been overhauled at a body shop in Bakersfield, Calif., Matt takes Zach and Jeremy on a road trip to trailer it home. For Matt and his oldest sons, it's a journey of male bonding, discovery and discomfort.

With the remodel finally behind them, the Roloffs go to Orlando for a much-needed escape from the rain, cold and close quarters. Amy leads the charge to get the family into vacation mode, but it takes more than belly dancing, alligator catching and grub-worm eating to loosen Zach up.

After over six months of work, the latest Roloff remodel is in the final stages - and not a moment too soon. Tired of the family living on top of one another in two rooms, Amy has run out of patience with Matt's constant additions and changes, and Matt nearly loses it when Jeremy crashes into the new garage door.

When Zach and Jeremy's school soccer team goes on a losing streak, Matt and Amy struggle to teach the twins life lessons in responsibility and perseverance. But on the sidelines, Amy's competitive nature erupts, and she embarrasses Matt by shouting at the referees.

With money he's saved, Jeremy buys an old, broken-down BMW to fix up. But after he and Zach are busted for off-road "mudding" with their cars and breaking state law by driving with an underage passenger, Matt and Amy suspend the twins' driving privileges.

Matt ups the ante for his stool kit business DAS by taking Amy and a group of their little people friends to a Las Vegas hotel convention. But when the DAS booth doesn't attract tons of paying customers, Matt wonders if he's made the right investment. Back at the farm, an overflowing toilet means chaos for the kids.
