A girl was found fatally wounded in a city park. Before she breathed her last, she revealed that she had been attacked by an unknown woman. Police investigators find that the girl was babysitting a three-month-old girl that day, who appeared to have fallen to the ground. In addition to murder, they are also dealing with child abduction.

Most people do well to disguise themselves from time to time and pretend to be someone else for a while. If they do it for the sake of a masquerade ball, they cannot be blamed, it is worse if the disguise serves to commit a crime. This is the conclusion that Viennese criminalists come to when investigating a series of robberies. The camouflage of the perpetrator is so perfect that it almost resembles a variety artist. From this reasoning unfolds a thoughtful investigation. And there's also Rex's great sense of smell. There are no disguises for a four-legged criminalist!
#9 - Dangerous Mission

If the perpetrator is in firm denial and there is no evidence, there is nothing left but to set a trap for him. When it is necessary to convict a bomber in custody, Commissioner Brandtner poses as the arrestee and helps the person to escape during the transfer to another prison – but the person does not trust him very much. Other policemen – Böck and Hellerer – secretly join the action, but the dangerous criminal works principally as a soloist and soon gets rid of the unwanted guides. Will the criminalists catch him before he starts blowing up objects full of innocent people again?

The roots of the latest case of Viennese criminologists lie in the emotional relationship between a high school teacher and her pupil. Love with the taste of forbidden fruit attracted the attention of an unscrupulous man who tried to blackmail the unequal couple. Blackmail, however, apparently became fatal to him. There is no need to search long to find out who would immediately benefit from his death. What will be important, however, will be whether the young teacher and Commissioner Moser come to the same suspicion as to the person of the murderer. Did the student in love decide to take a radical action, or did a strange coincidence intervene?

The murder and kidnapping of a little girl – this is another case of the Viennese murder party. At first, Isabell's father doesn't want to hear about the police. He fears for his daughter's life, and would rather accede to the blackmailer's demands and forfeit the twenty million ransom than endanger the child in any way. Commissioner Moser will have to make a considerable diplomatic effort to convince Mr König of the need for cooperation. Will the terrified father understand that without the help of detectives, the little girl has little chance of survival? But one thing is already clear: by the time the investigation is concluded, everyone involved will have a very hot time.

Under the container, which crashed on a passenger car, a rich businessman Kraus died. Investigators quickly concluded it was not an accident. There are several motives for the murder: Kraus was a gambler and the owner of an illegal gambling house, he also had a number of mistresses, and the discarded ones would gladly take revenge on him, moreover, his wife knew about his philandering and it did not work out in the family. Commissioner Brandtner ventures into the gambling underworld to try to find the truth.

The main suspect is a newly released convict whose ex-wife remarried during his time in prison, as the murdered man was the new husband. Everything indicates that the motive for the act was jealousy. Commissioner Moser, however, finds a pistol among the victim's personal belongings, modified so that she does not shoot. What was the purpose of such a weapon for a man who worked in the security of a large company?
