Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum, who also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show. Each yearly search of Germany's Next Topmodel has 10 to 17 episodes and starts with 12-25 contestants. Each episode, one contestant is eliminated, though a double/triple elimination or no elimination was given by consensus of the judging panel. Makeovers are administered to contestants early in the competition (usually after the first or second elimination in the finals).

#2 - First big fashion show, first farewell
Season 21 - Episode 3 - Aired 2/18/2026
In episode three, the men move into a modern loft in Berlin and immediately begin their first big walk through a staged cornfield, followed by an elimination round. The decisions are supported by American model Sean O’Pry. The candidates are styled by designer Maximilian Gedra – and in the end, it will be revealed: Who can impress and who must leave the show?
#3 - Retro glamour on the Spree & underground rave with Baptiste Giabiconi!
Season 21 - Episode 5 - Aired 2/25/2026
During the boat shoot on the Spree River, the models pose in 1960s swimwear for the camera of star photographer Andreas Ortner. Afterwards, the men receive an exclusive walk-walk coaching session in the loft from Baptiste Giabiconi, the internationally renowned model and close associate of Karl Lagerfeld. The "Underground & Rave Walk" is all about attitude and energy. Baptiste Giabiconi returns as a guest judge, accompanied by music from DJ Hops of OHM Berlin.
#4 - Job hunt & makeover: Casting week is about to begin

It's casting week for the models! Several exciting job opportunities are on the agenda. Who will impress the clients? The models will ultimately have to prove themselves on the runway during the monochrome walk. Heidi is supported by actor and model Michele Morrone, as well as choreographer and performance coach Nikeata Thompson.

Now the women are taking to the #GNTM stage. For the 21st season, global superstar Heidi Klum is calling on female candidates to an open casting call in Cologne. Who will advance to the next round and join Heidi Klum on her big "Germany's Next Topmodel" journey? Heidi Klum is also receiving support from fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
#6 - Moving into Berlin, catwalk fever & first decision

In this episode, the female models move into their new loft at the Berlin television studios. There, they face their next big runway challenge: a "marble" themed walk that demands elegance and poise. Heidi Klum is joined by British model Lottie Moss and designer and guest judge Giuliano Calza from GCDS. The crucial question at the end: Who will impress – and for whom will the journey end here?
#7 - A heavenly beautiful photoshoot & 80s power on the catwalk
Season 21 - Episode 6 - Aired 2/26/2026
In episode six, the female models face a spectacular "Angel and Demon" photoshoot with Armin Morbach, one of Germany's most renowned hair and makeup artists, and supermodel Nadja Auermann. Afterwards, Nadja Auermann conducts an intensive walk-walk training session on the banks of the Spree River, before the contestants have to give it their all in the wall walk. Guest judges include Nadja Auermann, Armin Morbach, and designer Kilian Kerner, who also provides the models with his looks.
#8 - Ready, Set, Go! Who will get the first job?
Season 21 - Episode 8 - Aired 3/5/2026
The models have numerous opportunities to secure jobs. Who will stand out, who will land a job? During the Formula 1 walk, the models have to give it their all before the decision is made. The three best female models will also receive a special reward: They get to attend the premiere of "Blinded by Delight" with Heidi Klum – the costumes are by Jeremy Scott. Heidi is supported by Jeremy Scott (star designer). The outfits for the walk are by Kevin Germanier.
