In each episode of Flea Market Flip, contestants search flea markets for secondhand items that they can buy, fix and then 'flip' for a profit. Lara Spencer, a passionate lifelong "flipper" who also appears on Good Morning America, hosts the series. Each week she assigns two-person teams a "flip list" of projects they need to accomplish to win the competition. With a budget of about $500, the teams scour a flea market in search of specific project items, such as a set of old chairs to reupholster or an item that can be repurposed. The team that does the best job of turning trash into cash will emerge victorious in this winner-takes-all competition.

#1 - Moms vs. Rhinestone Cowboys
Season 7 - Episode 9 - Aired 10/16/2016
Confident couple, Thomas and Douglas, is going to battle against a pair of fearless new moms, Jennifer and Ashley. The teams duke it out at the Brimfield Antique Show and Flea Market in Brimfield, Massachusetts. There they have $500 and one hour to shop for items from our Flip List: Unconventional Seating, Minimalist Design, and Drab to Fab. Next, it's time to transform their items in the workshop. Jennifer and Ashley hope to create three awesome projects as they update a pair of mid-century nightstands, use rustic wooden clamps to create unique seating, and transform an industrial table base into a functional kitchen island. Thomas and Douglas bring the sparkle as they add rhinestones and cowhide upholstery to a pair of vintage chairs, fuse two tables into a fashionable bench, and combine metal frames and a tabletop into a minimalist coffee table.

Next, it's time to fix up and transform their flea market finds in just one day in our workshop. Seven and Sarah waste no time putting their spin on their pieces: they transform a pair of fire extinguishers into a set of high-end lamps, give new life to two industrial fixtures, and put a metallic twist on a pair of mid-century tables.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Nicole add a personal collection of love letters to update a pair of side tables, give a storage cabinet a modern update, and add a burst of color to a metal locker.

They must find items from our Flip List: Mid-century project, Style Merge, and Vivid Design. Victoria and Michael choose a vivid color green to make an industrial cart into a eye-catching bar cart. They update two mid-century chairs with a new look, and merge a barn door and fence post into a chic coffee table. Naomi and Sage restore and repaint a pair of marble-topped night stands, update a vintage sewing table into a convertible desk, and use vinyl decals to turn a dated coffee table into a modern show-stopper.

Brian and Eric plan to fire up a stylish living room with their pieces. They'll use their flea market finds to create a custom coffee table, a side table with attached lamp, and an adjustable tv console.
