We escaped to LA in today's episode of FTD. First up, we visited the newly opened YESS Restaurant for a date and Irish whiskey Kakigori(shaved ice) to start the day. After that, Action's pals, Arjun and Nakul Mahendro, called Little Fish for one of their fried fish sandwiches. To wrap things up, Action met up with Scott Sampler from Scotty Boy Wines for an evening of "Thai Taco Tuesday" food from Ananjak Thai Cuisine's chef Justin Pichetrungsi.

In 2019, we visited them at Le Rigmarole, their yakitori-centric restaurant, but a lot has changed since, and now they run the wildly popular ice cream parlor and wine bar, Folderol, and have turned the former into Pizzamarole, a sourdough pizza place they run with their friend Dan Pearson. And this is where Action, Clovis, and their rag-tag wine and food crew hung out for a few hours one afternoon this past summer. This episode is about luxury, straight up. Our visit brings to Paris's premier chocolatier, Jaques Genin. Monsieur Genin taste Action and Clovis through some of his classic caramel's, that are €110 a kilo no less, and a little pistachio ice cream before taking them into the laboratory. Tasting chocolate and drinking champagne makes you hungry, so Clovis scored a table at Table by Bruno Verjus. Bruno is a true connoisseur and his restaurant is a reflection of that. From the razor clams to the back vintages of Overnoy and Prieuré Roch, this meal is one for the books.
