Action Bronson is taking over the Badmaash restaurant in Los Angeles for this special episode of FTD's Road to the Restaurant. With the help of the Badmaash family, we rolled out an exclusive menu inspiredx by Action’s favorite bites. To start this culinary adventure, we had an appetizer of sujuk croquettes paired with ivar, whipped feta, and stuffed zucchini. For the main course, we had lamb shanks, lahmajoun, and sujuk flatbreads. To finish the meal, the dessert was a whipped yogurt topped with honey, pistachio brittle, and sliced grapes. LA’s Chumbeh pop-up was such a success that Action is bringing it to New York City on this episode of FTD’s Road to the Restaurant. In collaboration with local eateries like Win Son and La Bicyclette, the crew curated the ultimate menu inspired by Action’s favorite dishes. Starters ranged from meatballs and sujuk to croquetas with smoked sujuk to zucchini salad and more. The main course featured savory dishes like chicken melise and a shuk burger. We continued our journey in Queens at Mama Yoshi’s Mini Mart, where we tried their signature natto burger made with fermented soybeans. After our time in Austria, the crew headed over to the next stop on the 2024 FTD European Tour: Milan. First up, Clovis visited Cascina Lago Scuro, a farmhouse and restaurant that’s been family-owned and operated for 300 years. We took an incredible tour through the grounds to stop by the “House of Salami” and watch fresh cheese get made. To wrap up the day, we sat down at the restaurant to try a variety of pizzas, pasta, and charcuterie bites, all using the ingredients made fresh on the property. The next day, Action joined Clovis and the crew visited Pan Milano to try a selection of fresh-baked breads and sandwiches before performing at Circolo Magnolia. Enjoy!
