Leaning on of years automotive restoration experience in addition to the qualities of discipline and precision Dan acquired in the military, the FantomWorks team runs a busy production pipeline in order to meticulously refurbish some of America's favorite rides. Joe pushes Fantomworks off the deep end when he challenges them to build a replica of a legendary 1953 hydroplane that set a water speed record with an automotive engine. Jim and Arlene want their beloved 1969 Firebird to once again be a daily driver.

Mike thought his 1967 Chevy K10 Pick Up needed paint improvement. Dan quickly realizes that the car needs much, much more to become the safe, reliable driver he wants. Harry adores his 1970 Opel Kadett, but Dan has trouble fidning parts.

Patsy and Apryle bring their 1968 Corvette in for mechanical work, but what their car really needs is a new paint job. Jim's 1958 Impala is an auction car. It looks pretty but when it's time to drive it's half the car Jim was hoping for.

Walter loves the fast and futuristic look of his 1975 Bricklin. Unfortunately, the car drives like something from the dark ages. Dan restores a 1963 Split Window Corvette for a pair of owners who know him well, his Uncle Carl and Aunt Claire.

Tom and Patti want to drive their 1967 Amphicar on land and water, but the hydrid boat-car has problems. Doc Pellerin hasn't started his ultra-rare Austin 10-4 in years, but he needs Dan to get it running for a major car show in just 4 days.

Ron & Valerie want Dan to restore their 1963 Jeep Willy's Fleetvan, but the problems run deeper than the seams hidden beneath inches of filler. Grady wants his Z28 to be a driver, but the former drag race car has never been out of 2nd gear.

Daniel has a 1968 Mustang Convertible; he wants FantomWorks to swap out the V6 with the V8 from a donor car. The swap is easier said than done. Stacia and Eugenia need Dan to transform their 1962 Citroen "problem car" into a reliable ride.

Bill's 1969 Pontiac Firebird is incompatible with his son's disability so he needs Dan to tame a car that was built for speed. Tim's '74 International Harvester Scout was given a paint job that took 4 years. He hopes that Dan can pick up the pieces.

FantomWorks epic 4-year-long wrestling match with the 1961 International Harvester Metro concludes with an incredible, one-of-a-kind van. Ray wants his '69 ZL1 to match the number 68 rally car, but he needs Dan's rare Winters stamped 427 COPO motor.

Kolin asks Dan to repair his smashed up 1973 Corvette, but Dan finds major problems that existed before the accident. Jim wants Dan to build him an asphalt crushing 1970 Challenger convertible by adding a 426 Hemi with all the fixin's.
