Gwizdo and Lian-Chu are Dragon Hunters. They of course, go around hunting dragons but in some situations never get paid for their work! Gwizdo is obsessed with his contracts and gold, while Lian-Chu is more for just trying to help out those who need it.
A mysterious rival keeps stealing contracts from under our heroes' noses. Gwizdo is determined to get his hands on the mustachioed colossus but, to their surprise, the stranger turns out to be Zoria.
Gwizdo discovers that a family of millionaires is looking for their long lost baby. While on a mission to measure a nearly extinct dragon, he decides to become their long lost son. As strange similarities between him and the family develop, (such as a matching tongue length, nearly identical speech, and a fake necklace that looks similar to the baby's), Gwizdo decides that this could actually be his real family. Will the truth be exposed about Gwizdo and what exactly happened to this couple's child?
Jennyline sends Gwizdo, Lian Chu and Hector in search of her daughter, Zoria. On their way, they are attacked by carnivorous birds, the Budzards, and forced to find shelter in a fortress.

Gwizdo and Lian Chu make a deal to get rid of the mother dragon who has settled on the roof of Jennyline's inn. Lian Chu, disguised as a pink baby dragon, tries to slay her but ends up being adopted.
When Lian Chu is poisoned, Gwizdo must find the cure. Unfortunately, the only antidote is the gland of a Mimikar, a species of dragon that has only one surviving member.
Fed up with being exploited by Gwizdo, Hector decides to run away and go back to life in the wild. Meanwhile, Gwizdo replaces him with a silly little dog named Woofwoof.
When Jennyline's ex-husband, whom everyone believed was gone for good, suddenly reappears, Gwizdo, suspicious of the stranger, sets out to prove that Roger isn't who he claims to be.
Zaza forces Gwizdo and Lian Chu to take her along on a dragon hunt by memorizing and then throwing out the map. She leads them to a farmer whose field has been devastated by the nearby forest dragon.
