Steve is stunned when he finds Joey has snuck onto the plane. Joey accuses his father of trying to abandon him again, and Steve works overtime to explain he intends to find Bo and then return home. Joey opens up about how much it hurt to have his dad leave, and Steve ends up telling Joey all about his relationship with Kayla to prove how much he loves his family. At the same time, Kayla also has memories of her past with Steve. By the end, Joey realizes how much Steve loves him and his family, and Steve calls Kayla to tell her he's bringing Joey back - and once he finds Bo, he is done taking off on missions; he will come back for good to be with his family. Brady, Nicole and Theresa work on their proposal to present to John in order to buy Basic Black. They are surprised by how much John neglected the finances and realize there will be much work to be done. Later, Nicole eavesdrops as Theresa talks to her silent investor - and Nicole manages to find out it's Kate! She storms over and angrily confronts Kate. Meanwhile, Brady and Theresa grow closer. At Club TBD, Eve and Kate form an unlikely bond, and Kate supports Eve, who continues to grieve over Paige. Meanwhile, Rafe is livid to find his father, Eduardo, in town. They enter the bar, where Eduardo tries to reach out to his estranged son. Rafe isn't having any of it and blasts his father for leaving their family all those years ago. Finally, Rafe storms out, and Eve takes notice. She approaches Eduardo and learns her ex-husband not only ditched her and Paige but also the Hernandez family. She then goes to Rafe and tells him Paige was his sister.

Steve tracks down the Britta look-alike who met with Bo and learns she provided Bo with bogus information from an unknown employer. The woman, Claudia, supplies Steve with the phone number she gave Bo. An optimistic Steve calls Kayla and says he's on the right track. At the same time, Bo almost escapes from his cell, but a guard thwarts his attempt and the "boss" orders him to be moved. Hope asks Kayla to be her matron of honor, and Kayla accepts. Their conversation turns to Bo, and Kayla can't help but wonder if Steve is right - maybe Bo is in trouble. Hope insists Bo is just fine. He made his choice when he left, and she has made hers - Aiden. Stefano summons Aiden and calls him on stealing a check. Aiden denies it, but Stefano says they are through. He's not getting one dime. He also fires him off of Chad's case. Furious, Aiden threatens to tell Hope about their collusion, but Stefano knows Aiden won't do it - he's fallen in love with Hope, and she really is the only option Aiden has left. Later, Aiden sees the loan shark talking to Chase and he freaks. Rattled, he goes to Hope and admits he needs to make a confession. Earlier, Stefano is dismayed when Andre returns to town, reminding him no one in Salem knows he's alive. Andre insists he wants to help Stefano. Adrienne receives startling news about her mother's health and goes to see Kayla. On the way, she runs into Lucas, who tells her he thinks she's making a big mistake going back to Justin. Eve meets with Eduardo regarding Paige's funeral arrangements. She rips into him, revealing she knows about his other family. Justin comes to her aid, and Eduardo goes. As Justin pulls Eve into a hug, Lucas shows up. Lani Price, a cop from Miami, arrives in town to join the Salem PD. She takes an immediate interest in Abe.
