Gabriel tells John he will suffer a great disappointment and he must prepare himself or else someone John loves deeply will die. Kristen tells Tony everything about her affair with John, but despite it, all she still loves Tony. Billie tries to matchmake Mike and Gina and invites them to dinner. Kristen comes clean about the birth control pills, not knowing that Tony knew about them all along. Billie invites Carrie to dinner as well. Austin invites Sami along. Tony asks Kristen to stay, blaming John for the affair. After hearing Jack's name announced over the PA system at the hotel, Jennifer storms up to him and accuses him of following her. Due to a snowstorm, Jennifer hires a car to leave Chicago, not knowing that Jack has stowed away in the back.

Sami misunderstands Austin's let down. She thinks that he loves her. John and Abe find the policeman shot in the leg and Marlena unconscious on the floor. The cop tell Abe that Marlena jumped him. Abe picks up the gun and puts it on the counter. As John, Abe and the DA discuss Marlena, she gets the gun. She orders Abe and the DA out and tells John to stay. The devil tells Marlena to shoot him but Marlena's voice argues with him. Jack asks Laura's advice on getting back with his wife. Laura is upset thinking that "Clark" had feeling for her. Jack has plans to move into Jennifer's place. Marlena finally lets the gun go and shoots to the right of John.

Everyone is stunned at the reception to see a naked Marlena . She is in a daze. The DA shows up and wants Marlena arrested and announces that she is the desecrator. They take Marlena to the hospital for more tests, but she has a police guard. She calls the policeman in for some help and struggles with him. She take his gun. They struggle again and the gun goes off.

Bo and Billie are finally announced husband and wife. Marlena starts to realise what is happening to her. She fights with herself. The devil wins again and she shows up at the reception after Bo and Billie have left, naked.

Bo and Billie's wedding day. Austin is shocked to find Sami in his bed. Gina tells Billie she can't be bridesmaid for her. Stefano doesn't believe Celeste when she tells him Marlena is possessed by the devil. She blames Stefano for opening Marlena's soul to this invasion of the devil. Austin feels very quilty and now feels that he has to tell Carrie.

Sami puts a tablet in Austin's drink. Abe has a warrant to arrest Marlena. Stefano steals Marlena from her room. He then sets a plan in place to save her. He has cloned five Marlena's to go in different directions. John meets up with Gabe again. A s they talk, a boy John knows is hit by a care and dies in John's arms. Gabe tells John that he can't help the boy, Kevin, he is in another place. John is angry so Gabe preforms a miracle and Kevin comes back to life. John believes and Gave tells him to hurry to Marlena's as she is in danger. He finds her gone and a note (written by Stefano) saying she has left Salem. Sami finally gets Austin into bed and thinking it's Carrie, he makes love to her. Celeste is left with Marlena at Stefano's apart ment. As Celeste tries to leave, she is thrown to the ground and sees Marlena in devil mode.

Kate asks Billie to be the baby's Godmother. Jennifer is home from the hospital and Jack comes to visit. He again misses Laura. Kate shows off the baby to his brothers and sister. Sami steals some sleeping tablets from the hospital. Bo, Jonah and Austin head to the Cheatin' heart from another Bachelor Party. Laura and Jack meet at Salem Place. She asks him his real name but the telephone interrupts them.

Vivian and Ivan find the hotel Victor and Kate are staying at and interrupt their wedding vows. Vivian is about to tell them that she and Victor are married, but she goes into labour. John's plan to capture the desecrator leads possessed Marlena to the church, where John has donated a religious statue. He finds Marlena in front of the statue. He misunderstands her being there, thinking that she's there to help him. She doesn't reply. As John turns his back, she attacks him. Ave and Mike arrive in time to save John. Mike injects a sedative into Marlena. John, Mike and Laura bring a sleeping Marlena back to her penthouse. Abe searches her bedroom and finds the black gloves and chloroform. They realise that Marlena is the desecrator. As Abe and John speak outside the room, Stefano takes Marlena from the bed.

Peter and Jack bring Jennifer back to Salem and into hospital. They continue to argue of her. Laura sees "Clark" at Salem Place. John sets up a plan to capture the desecrator. Victor and Kate decide to elope before the baby is born. Vivian and Ivan frantically search for them.

Gabriel visits John and again tells him he needs to prepare himself. John tells him he lost his battle, he lost Kristen. Gabriel says that's not the battle. Tony and Kristen make love. Tony has offered to rebuild St. Luke's for Bo and Billie's wedding. Jennifer is delirious with fever and wants Jack to make love to her but Jack realises it's only the fever. Peter finds Jack and Jennifer. Stefano searches through Marlena's room and finds matches, chloroform and glove's reeking of gasoline.

Jack and Jennifer walk in the snow and find a cave where they make a fire. Jennifer is running a fever and tells Jack she loves him. She has some memories of them together. Later when she awakens, she asks Jack to make love to her. Peter goes to find Jennifer. Lucas is about to tell Austin it was Sami he slept with but can't. Carrie again tries to talk with Austin but he doesn't want to have anything to do with her.

As the snowstorm rages, Jack and Jennifer's car stall.s Jack goes for help and when he returns, Jennifer is gone. She's unconscious in the snow. Jack finds her. Peter, Mike and Laura are worried about Jennifer. Laura can't understand why Jennifer was in Chicago in the first place. Peter tells her about finding "Clark" for her.

Jack shows himself to Jennifer in the car. Carrie still doesn't understand why Austin is so disgusted in her. Tony and Kristen decide to renew their wedding vows at St Lukes and John is the priest on call. Tony still wants to go ahead. Possessed Marlena locks them into the church as they say their vows. She pours gasoline over the entrance and sets it alight. Tony and Kristen pledge their love to each other in front of a distraught John. Everyone realises the church is on fire. Stefano and Celeste rush to the church. As Celeste goes to call the Fire Brigade, Stefano smells gas and wonders who could have set fire to the church. He sees Marlena hidden in the bushes. Bo and Peter help John, Tony and Kristen escape the fire.

Victor and Kate bring Phillip Robert Kiriakis home and tells Vivian she can move back into the Alamian mansion. Vivian has other ideas. Bo wants Billie to adopt Shawn D. Alice is still convinced that Gina is Hope. She gets Gina an interview for the police force.

Vivian's labour is a false alarm, but she's in hospital. Jennifer goes in search of "Clark" for her mother, which leads her on a plane to Chicago with an unsuspecting Jack sitting behind her. Kristen is feeling guilt ridden and after speaking with Father Francis, she finally confesses to Tony about her affair with John. John brings Marlena home and then goes to St Lukes to pray. He prays for a sign. A bright light appears behind him and there's Gabriel.

Lucas rescues Sami from the Cheatin' Heart and takes her back to Titian. He tells her about the tape and she's touched that he cares about her. They kiss and then make love. Carrie leaves a note on her door for Billie and Gina, saying that she'll be at Titian, but gets a call from John to go to the hospital as Marlena has had a bad turn. Austin decides he needs to talk to Carrie and sees her note, so he heads off to Titian. He finds Sami and Lucas together and thinks its Carrie making love to Lucas. He is devastated. Lucas rushes out and Sami realises that Austin thinks she was Carrie. Marlena comes too and is feeling much better. Mike is amazed at her recovery. Vivian goes into labour.

Austin feels very awkward as Sami parades around in her lingerie. Lucas loosens Alan's tongue with booze and records his confession of raping Sami. Sami continues to throw herself at Austin but he tells her despite his problems with Carrie, he still loves her and can only be friends with Sami. Sami grabs her coat and rushes out. She head for the Cheatin' Heart where some men try to hit on her. After hearing Alan's confession on tape, Austin knows this will clear Sami's name, but he and Carrie continue to argue of Sami and her trying to break them up. They finally decide to end it.

Season 30 - Episode 58 - Aired 2/6/1995
Sami has on sexy lingerie to entice Austin. Mike does tests on Marlena as she has anaemia. Kristen rushes out of the room and tells John the lights went out, the room turned icy cold. In addition, there was a foul smell. It was as though there was an evil presence in the room. Later Marlena needs a blood transfusion. Stefano make his way into her room and writes on her chart "eyes sometime appear yellow". Carrie rushes to tell Sami and Austin about Marlena. Sami thinks Marlena is faking it. The transfusion doesn't work and Marlena's red blood cell count is very low. Sami goes in to see her mother, thinking this will earn her more points with Austin. As the nurse leaves, Marlena says "hypocrite". Sami rushes out of the room.

Season 30 - Episode 57 - Aired 2/3/1995
Court proceedings commence to certify that Hope is legally dead. Bo recalls how Hope died. Marlena continues to strangle Stefano with Celeste on the other side of the closet, trying to get in the room. The Devil is stopping her. Celeste finally falls into the room and try's to get Stefano away from Marlena but Marlena is too strong. Celeste yells out "Dear God please help me" which make Marlena let go of Stefano. Gina is not at the court to testify. Alice gets on the stand and tells how she believes Gina is Hope. Alice later goes to find Gina at Hope's grave. Stefano and Celeste leave as they hear someone at the door. John and Kristen find Marlena totally out and calls an ambulance. She later wakes in the hospital. Gina finally shows up at the courtroom and testifies that she's not Hope. The court declares Hope dead. As Kristen visit's Father Francis, the devil is in the room.

Season 30 - Episode 56 - Aired 2/2/1995
Tony tells Stefano and Celeste that Kristen knows he can see. He tells them about Kristen and John. Jack and Jennifer argue over custody for Abby. Peter takes Abby to lunch at the Brady Pub, where they run into Kristen and talk about Tony and Stefano. Peter and Abby then walk on the pier, where Peter meets up with Celeste, who tells him he belongs in a meeting with Stefano immediately. Peter hands Abby over to Laura to babysit. Laura takes Abby to the studio to meet up with Jenn, but she's already left. A panicked Jennifer calls the studio, afraid Laura and Abby will run into Jack there. She demands that they come home immediately. John asks Laura to visit Marlena. Marlena tells her about nightmare of Kristen. Stefano visits a sleeping Marlena. As Stefano caresses her, she wakes possessed and starts to strangle him.

Jen continues to be upset working with Jack. She threatens to quit the show to avoid working with him. Peter helps Jenn change all of the locks on the house to prevent Jack from coming over. Laura continues to remember her brief affair with Clark and narrowly misses seeing Jack at the house. Jack tells Jen he wants joint custody of Abby. Sami tells Jamie how Carrie slapped her in front of Austin and how he refused to believe Carrie's accusations. Jamie & Lucas both tell Sami to give up her plan and to stop hurting Carrie but she won't listen. Austin seeks Kate's advice on his relationship with Carrie. Vivian watches her wedding video and it is almost seen by Kate. Olga almost tells Kate about the wedding but some quick explaining by Viv and Ivan ( who is home after his appendix removal) make sure Kate does not find out.

Kristen tells John and Tony about her evening. Tony wants to check the Auto Company but she tells them they don't have a record. Gina has to sign a document swearing she's not Hope. Marlena turns up at the Di Mera mansion. After Kristen continues to plead her innocence, John thinks maybe the chloroform from the previous night could have affected her memory. Bo and Billie don't want Gina to sign the document, but Gina wants to for them.

Alan tells Carrie everything he knows about what Sami is up too, re taking Austin from Carrie. Kristen/Marlena tries to seduce John, who is dressed in his priest gear. The real Kristen is having car trouble. Tony hears the message on his machine and rushes to the loft. John fights his attraction to Kristen. She tries to remove his priest's collar. Tony finally sees them together and they realise he can see. Kristen gets car assistance from an unexpected source - Gabriel. When she later phones the Auto company, they have no record of a repair truck being sent out. Carrie rushes over to confront Sami with the facts that Alan gave her. She gets angry and slaps Sami as Austin walks in. When Tony later confronts Kristen at home, she is astonished that Tony can see. He asks her what she has to say for herself. John arrives but she swears she was nowhere near the loft. Kristen/Marlena transforms back to Marlena. Later Marlena wakes from a sleep, takes one look at herself and faints.

Peter tells Stefano that he loves Jennifer and will be good for her. Marlena makes an appointment to see Laura. Jennifer is furious at Jack for getting a job at the TV station. Stefano blackmails Peter with the knowledge of putting toxic fumes in Laura's office. Marlena tells Laura about her memory lapses. Alan phones Carrie to tell her what really happened when Sami shot him. Laura wants to hospitalise Marlena but the devil take over Marlena and says she's fine and leave. Marlena arrives home and transforms into Kristen. She leaves a message on Tony's answering machine, "If you want to know what your wife is up to, go the loft." Marlena/Kristen goes to John's loft and when John closes the door, she removes her coat and has sexy lingerie underneath.
